Haven't seen it mentioned but they are planning on releasing a "stimulus" package. I guess if you have played during the month of October then you will be receiving $500,000 directly deposited into your characters bank account.

I am starting to get the vibe of the PS3 crew is a lot more organized then the 360 crew. Everyday I come here and read of all the fun PS3 guys are having. I was on last night for a good 5 or 6 hours. During that time, I only seen 5 guys from the OS crew online the entire time and none of their sessions were open.

I guess if you see somebody online already just message them and see whats up? I'm having the same problems too.

I'm having a hell of a time connecting with 360 crew members. Starting to get a little annoyed playing with randoms.

I haven't even tried getting back on to GTA:O since night 2. I couldn't get the first race to load up. Plus, I'm only about 75% done with the story mode.

However, once I do get on (tonight maybe?) I'll be open to some 360 play. my GT is the same as my username here, StormJr. I'm open for FR if anybody wants to send them my way.

Patience is a good quality when you're in the air (and perhaps more importantly, coming back to the ground). When I try to rush landings it never ends well.

No one had a mic, so I kept saying things like, "Shoot your gun if you want me to pass over the field, you guys jump out and take them all out."

I eventually ignored all the possible plans I layed out, landed on the runway and just gunned it to the mission finish.

Also, if you press the gas right as the countdown goes down you'll get a big boost. I swear I'm the only one using this in the races I'm in and I never even have to look back.

I can't be the only person who has been really down on GTA Online, right ?

I'm not trying to be a debbie downer. I just lost all sorts of excitement after the initial delay in being able to play.

I'll play for an hour or so most nights and then I lost interest. It's too hard to stay connected to people, in my opinion.

It's probably a good thing I didn't have a mic at the end of that because I was just screaming "GO GO GO GO GO" at my TV as you were getting close to that yellow marker. I love this game.

Our rotation of regulars on the 360 is insanely active with no slow down in sight.

But I get what you're saying, for some people this game doesn't click I guess.

Yeah, PS3..

I feel like I really only get mission invites from the same two or three crew members when I do get them. My friend and I were playing some last night. I just hate having to go to free mode again and then trigger another mission.

I don't care too much about all the racing and parachuting stuff, but I'll play it.

Then when I send out invites for mission, no one really joins and it's always randoms and it sucks.

I'll hit the PS button and check the friends list and everyone is in a game.

It may just be me, but I think the game could do better about connecting everyone in the world...

This place must be the complete opposite of VSN (in more ways than one). [ I haven't visited that cesspool in months but I still game with a lot of the members there. The PS3 community is far more active there with almost every game, including this one. There are easily ten guys from the FOOT Clan playing this on PS3 nightly, and they/we all use mics.

I got real worried running through those last two SUVs. I was just waiting for a wing to tip over and for the plane to explode. Combining that with not knowing whether we had completed the mission while under all that fire, that mission ended up being all types of crazy.

I felt bad for that guy too, but he HAD to be pressing the wrong button. There's no way that plane only held 1 driver and 2 passengers.

I'm thinking a big issue is that players on 360 and players on PS3 are going to be playing with the crew differently. 360 with group chat, you'll get groups of 7 or 8 guys who are playing with each other a lot, while on PS3 I've only seen OS groups at a max of 5 or so, but I always seem to be in a server with 1-3 other OS players.

Combine this with the free-aim/assisted aim seperation (if this actually exists?) and I can see how some players may feel like they don't see anyone.

This is my only complaint. Connecting, and staying connected, with people you know isn't very fluid.

Also, if you want a Pearlescent paint layer on your car, apply a metallic color to it first and it'll unlock.

I was wondering who else, other than ImTellinTim, was in that mission. Good times. I was stinking it up in the beginning because I don't have a good long range weapon and there was like no cover from the hill to the SUVs.
