xbox digital downloads on usb flash drive

I recently upgraded to two 32 gig usb flash drives to up my storage on my 360, I have a launch model with the whopping 20 gig hdd.

Anyway, I've downloaded a handful of the Games for Free for Xbox Gold subscribers and am running out of room again.

I use xtaf with my flash drive all the time to load up the newest community sports rosters and such. I just tried to take, Dead Rising 2, which I downloaded to the USB Flash drive, and put it in a folder on my PC using Xtaf.

That seemed to work well. Now, I can't seem to inject it back from my PC to my Flash drive. I'm only doing this to save space but doesn't appear to be cooperating as Xtaf has been "(Not Responding)" for 45 minutes now.

Anyone here try this? I want to put the digital downloads I dont use often onto my pc to save space on my flash drive then restore/inject them back onto the flash drive if I want to play it.

Sorry I can't really contribute to your problem, but I have a question . You were able to download free-with gold games to your usb?

I'm in the same situation with limited HD space but I've searched everywhere and can't find how or of its even possible to save the free with gold games to usb. It only gives me and option to save to the HDD.

I have 2 kingston 16gb usb drives that I put games on - I think 16gb might be the limit though --- it should give you the storage device option... so it could depend on the usb size or the brand as well... you have to kind of dedicate it for xbox as well I think, like you can't put it in your mac and use it there and then expect to save xbox games on teh same one.
