Re: Games that must be experienced.
Played it but On Tour isn't what I would say a new gamer should experience as SSX.
The art direction is pretty off and it has no real "story" too it as the games mentioned.
By all means On Tour is great if you like SSX but a new person too the series must know the basics of tricky and 3, hell its hard to even appreciate the new SSX without playing the old games."ITS SO FLUFFY!!!">:DComment

Re: Games that must be experienced.
It's not quite a necro-bump because this thread isn't ultra old, but I am bumping this because I'm jazzed about a game I just finished. Beyond: Two Souls is a game that must be experienced. Its bizarre, non-linear story with a seemingly endless possibility of plot branches and split-second, story-altering decisions has kept me completely enthralled. I really dig it. One ending down, twenty-two more to go.The Last of Us is the Citizen Kane of video-games. It is better than every game that has ever come before it, and is the new benchmark for all games to follow. It is nothing short of a work of art.Comment

Re: Games that must be experienced.
All 3 Donkey Kong Country games on SNES. First game came out when I was 9 and I was hooked. I still have all of them to this day and still play them occasionally. Absolutely fantastic games. DKC2 is probably one of the greatest SNES games of all time.Comment

Games that must be experienced.
I picked up a 360 the other day just so that I can replay the Mass Effect series. I am 30 hours into the first game. This series is a timeless, legendary masterpiece that absolutely everyone must experience. I lost count of how many playthroughs this will be for me. I am not even through the first game and I am excited to start my renegade character!
This game is by far the best I've played on any console, in my lifetime. There is no comparison.

Games that must be experienced.
Just finished my Mass Effect 1 playthrough on insane. I guess they changed it so you don't have to go through twice to play on the hardest level. I love how you have to think, strategize character abilities and tactical placement to make it through. Secondly the music, especially the song at the end rocks. This is probably around my 10th time through Mass Effect 1... It was as incredible as the first time. Here's hoping for the re master announce at E3
Now Mass Effect 2
