    Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End

Really loving the game so far. I decided to play some more MP since I wanted to get used to some of the new maps that weren't on the beta. For people just starting MP the 5 new maps will take some time to get used to and the people who have played on them before will have more of an advantage.

I always appreciated the time Naughty Dog put into their multiplayer content. I loved UC2, enjoyed UC3 (which they updated very often), had some fun with the change of pace in TLOU.

I'm considering buying my younger brother a PS4 with UC4 so we could party up online.

              Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End

I must say, I had extremely high expectations for this game based upon past games and the reviews I've seen and yet somehow this game blew those expectations away. It's pretty rare that I sit and play a game and even the story grips my attention but this one does. And wow, these graphics, they continue to astound me.

I played last night for about 2 hours or so but made very little progress because I kept taking videos and pictures all the time while playing. Oh and messing with the addictive photo mode. At this pace I'll finish this game sometime by 2020, LOL.

I haven't even played multi-player, for those of you who have, what is it all about? Is it just deathmatch or what?

It's team Deathmatch, Command (capture points and protect/kill team captains) and Plunder (capture the flag)

Few of us posted impressions couple pages back

There's 3 modes in multiplayer right now.

Team deathmatch - 5v5 the first team to 40 kills wins.
Plunder - 4v4 the you have to bring the treasure back to your base. First team to capture 3 wins.
Command- 5v5 Which is like king of the hill where you have to capture bases. Each team also gets a captain and if the enemy team kills your captain they get more points.

There's also a ranked Team Deathmatch.

Not so crazy really considering the developer. Naughty Dog >>>

I fricken love the rope swinging mechanic as well. So much fun, and as expected, so well implemented.

Finished it earlier. What a ride. The attention to detail, environments, character development, and so many little things add up to make Uncharted 4 great. It's easily the best Uncharted game. More than any of the others, it felt like a real adventure.

Along with Jare's impressions and descriptions, it's also worth noting that Naughty Dog has a plan for free future additions to the multiplayer (such as new maps and co-operative modes).

Only played up to a little bit of chapter three so far. The two things that stand out the most up to this point are performance and production value. Top notch all around. Oh, and the swing physics when using the rope are spot on. At least it feels natural and lifelike. Not that I would know anything about swinging from a rope hundreds of feet in the air.

First actual rope play I made. My first one I missed my target, but actually ended up killing a dude who turned the corner behind him.

I'm up through chapter 12. I'm hoping to finish it tomorrow since its a Redbox rental, but I don't want to rush it. My favorite Uncharted game by a fair margin. I've had trouble forcing myself to replay the 1st three, but this one is one that I can see myself wanting to play again. I'll definitely buy it when its on sale to finish off my collection.
