Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End
Did they reset the stats? My time played was way off, so it messed up all my spm stuff.

Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End
Just checked and my time played is still way off. That's unfortunate. I was hoping for a complete wipe of stats, but it seems like the issue only affected a handful of people.
*edit*
I played a round of TDM and my time was readjusted after the round. Hopefully this is the case for the other modes as well. I might be good after all.Last edited by Pappy Knuckles; 06-30-2016, 06:31 PM.Comment

Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End
Okay, just beat UC3 on Crushing. Now all taken care of with UC1, UC2, and UC3 on PS4! (I had originally beat them all on PS3, but never on Crushing)

Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End
So I think you all understand that I played through UC1, UC2, and UC3 to get super stoked to get into the story of UC4. That being said, I’m only halfway through the first chapter, and two things are very jarring that might make this trek not as pleasing as anything from the first three installments.
The first one is the framerate, though I can live with 30 FPS (even with motion blur), but I am never going to say that 30 FPS is remotely close to 60 FPS. Do I want to sacrifice detail for framerate? Unsure, but I can’t say they are the same. I’m always flabbergasted when I read that people say they don’t see a difference. I understand when some people say it doesn’t mean that much to them, but not see a difference? It’s night and day, even with motion blur maxed out.
The second thing, and the more important one, is the gunplay. The controls are literally laggy, and the acceleration on the gun control is way cranked up. Even lowering the sensitivity to zero doesn’t resolve the issue. The framerate thing is complaining to complain, but this one is nearly intolerable and literally affects my play. I might set up my camera just to show what it is I’m talking about, and even compare it to any of the previous Uncharted games. I died five times before killing the first three bad guys of the game, and I was in cover. I can’t lock on to them.
Please don’t say that I suck or anything like that. I might not be the best out there either, but I just got through playing 50+ hours of the other three UC games in the past two months (most of it in the past month). I know exactly what I am feeling and what is different. I’m sure I’ll get used to it, but I could only play for ten minutes and that’s what I have as initial impressions so far from what I can see and feel. Can’t wait to get into the story, but I hope I am able to kill people along the way or else I won’t be able to progress into the story!Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End
You can't lock onto them? You're on PS4?
With it maxed out it practically auto locks on enemies like in GTAV online. Not sure what is going on in your game, the auto lock on its actually cheese mode it seems. I can run into a room with 6 or 7 enemies and kill them all pretty fast.
I really don't know what's happening in your game, sounds odd. Maybe a setting or something is off?Comment

Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End
Oh no, I disabled auto-aim. I'm not going to play with that on. I didn't use it for UC1, UC2, or UC3. Granted, it wasn't a setting in those games and at times I felt when you aimed down the sight it helped you locate a moving target, but I could have gone without any aim assist whatsoever). You can't lock onto them? I was referring to lowering the sensitivity to zero and maxing out the motion blur. I'll see how turning aim assist up to 5 or so helps things, but coming off of the previous games I don't really want to go to a support system.
I felt I always needed it in GTA and RDR, though. Different kinds of games and significantly less cover. Aw heck, they have bad acceleration issues too. I guess we were just spoiled with the controls in UC1, UC2, and UC3.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End
We must have played different games.
SP and MP are both smooth and responsive for me.Comment

Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End
Same, everything was very smooth and responsive for me as well. Seems isolated, maybe a database rebuild, or a reinstall?

Yea I was trying to be helpful regarding his aiming problem, but I honestly have no clue what he's talking about.
My SP & MP are both smooth and responsive as well. Sounds like somethings wrong with his ****, delete it all and start over heh.Comment

Re: UNCHARTED 4: A Thief’s End
Ay, it's not that kind of issue. I'm not talking about slowdown or choppiness, I'm talking about framerate being exactly that. Framerate. 30 FPS is not in the same league as 60 FPS at all. I guess "smooth" comes in many forms.
As far as the gun stuff, I'm in Chapter 4 and have had yet to get another opportunity to fire a weapon, but I have since installed the 1.10 patch. I'll wait until I come upon another enemy to see if any patches have addressed acceleration issues.
If there are other issues, I'll record them and show you exactly what is going on that is different from this game and UC1, UC2, and UC3. Night and day differences in aiming, I tell you.
By the way, I haven't played multiplayer, but MP is supposedly 60 FPS, so of course that will be smooth. I'm guessing the acceleration sensitivity will still be cranked high when aiming, though.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
