Re: No Man's Sky
Surprisingly I've had zero issues on PC other than a few stutters the first 30 seconds I booted the game up. I figured that was the game loading the planet and everything around it in. No problems after that. Silky smooth.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: No Man's Sky
Going on 9 hours now. My experience on PC has been 98 percent silky smooth.
Love the game right now. I feel like I'm doing it wrong (only have 900k so far) but I've been to 4 planets and 100 percented them all. I can see my myself hunting sown every little critter for quite awhile.
I definitely have some gripes/concerns but I'll write about that laterOakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: No Man's Sky
Holy ****!!! I just landed on a planet that has vortex cubes everywhere. Just picked up 5 and carried to the space station and sold for 48K a piece. About to clear my cargo and start making runs with nothing but cubes lol

So this guy tried to hand me this multi-tool. Then I accidentally right-clicked.
I was so amazed at the upgrade over my current one that I happened to take a screenshot.

Re: No Man's Sky
About 30 mins in I think I've made a huge mistake buying this game especially digital version.
Boot up and can't even start game with getting a crash after going through stars. Get on plant and have unredeem items in options menu- can't seem to find out what that is to get the message to go away. Walked around and literally done nothing but use a zarya type gun to mine iron on a 130 degree planet only to get killed by sentinels.
The user interface/menu system don't understand, the help info goes by so fast can't read it to understand how to help myself figure out how to repair a freaking thrusters to get off this forsaken planet.
Don't think this is my cup of tea at all.

Re: No Man's Sky
these aliens are advance
this part of the world had a lot of clipping and floating buildings.
finally left starting planet. I've gone to all 3 planets in system so far and looked around. 2 of the 3 have gold everywhere. my exosuit is up to 16 slots now, and got a 16 slot multi-tool as well.
I just redeemed the pre-order ship. looking to save up and get a new ship soon. found 2 crashed ships, but both were smaller or same sie as starting ship.Comment

Tons of gold around too and I completely ignored it.
My stats right now
Found a completely lifeless world
It was actually kind of cool to explore, you could easily see every point of interest. Other than those it did have some aluminum deposits, plutonium crystals, caves had the normal cave stuff.Comment

Re: No Man's Sky
Finally got my first AtlasPass! I was worried it wouldn't be worth the wait (or rather just sprinting around to get it) but I can say that even at V1 I'm finding some nice things.
I'll photo dump once I get a few more pictures. I'm not doing great on money (most I've had is about 500K, I end up just replacing my ship).
I don't have the urge to binge this game as much as I first did (could just be because of work I really haven't had a long time to sit and play consistently to fully engage), but that doesn't mean I'm not enjoying it.
Reviews are what I'd expect, Metacritic around 6/7, with people loving it or hating it. Problem with the general language the publicity team at HG has been using is it allows people to really get some crazy ideas on what this game was going to be rather than what it is. On the buggy side, only thing I've noticed is that height and weights are switched and occasionally get floating objects. Have not had a crash since when I first started the game Day 1, no stutter, nothing. (Knock on wood of course).
Personally game gets a high 7/ low 8. It is what I thought it'd be and does a lot of things well. Really exciting to think where this game will go if HG sticks with it like it seems they want to. Though I am curious about base building because that seems counter intuitive with the point of the game. Will be fun to beat now than pick it up again months down the road and see how things changed, exact reason why I got it digital, so I don't trade it in one day when it's just been sitting on the shelf for a month or two.Bulls|Bears|Cubs| Blackhawks|Huskies|Horned Frogs|
