    I'd be shocked if it was delayed again. It's probably just because all pre-orders were cancelled after the delay and its somehow just hitting you now, Scott.

    All signs are pointing to it being on time, this time. I doubt Sean Murray would have tweeted what he did if it were possibly getting delayed. And I'm sure the story would have broke by now.

    But then again, who knows with this game.

        Yeah, I have no clue. I hope it's not delayed but might be a blessing in disguise for me. The more I hear about the game, the more it sounds like Minecraft in space and might not be a game for me. Waiting for impressions from you fine folk

            I have never played Minecraft, but I have heard that is not really what this game is. So I'm not sure.

                It's not the first time I've heard that comparison. I feel like the term minecraft is going to being used to describe any sort of game where resource gathering and building is an important aspect of the game. Even if there's a ton of other things to do.

                    Don't get the Minecraft references because there's no meaningful building is there? Would be cool if everyone who played had a planet of their own to build on.

                            Yeah, that's where I was kind of going with it, and that like Minecraft it doesn't have a real ending per say, you just explore, build, name, etc.

                                Isn't 7 Days compared to minecraft then? Seems like a loose comparison.

                                            You don't build your ships, you buy them from the space stations. I mean, you collect resources to sell, and there's some basic semblance of finding and crafting upgrades, but that's hardly minecraft-like.

                                            I guess the first person in a fully deformable environment is kind of minecraftian? That's kind of the only parallel I can draw.
