I've heard nothing but good things about Tales from the Borderlands, so I'm going to give that a shot when its on a sale.



Their games do seem like they've taken a dip in quality since Season 1 of The Walking Dead. I feel like they are spread too thin across all their games. There are other developers out there making better Telltale-style games than Telltale is right now, namely DONTNOD with Life is Strange and Supermassive with Until Dawn.

I think Telltale hit TWD out of the park but a lot of others have been mediocre especially the ones before TWD like Jurassic Park and Back to the Future.

The Wolf Among Us is supposed to be really good.

That's the thing with Telltale games, GoT in particular - for the first 10 mins after I finished the finale I was angry at myself for a lot of the outcomes. Then, I realized my choices probably would have only made small differences in the way things played out anyway. My experience ended with Asher, his lil sister, and lil brother still alive in the Forrester house. I imagine I could have saved Mira if I chose to marry, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I was most disappointed to see her die.

I will give TT credit for this though - they didn't pull ANY punches with the mature content. But I think Tales was a better game overall and turnaround times between episodes was faster as well.

The Wolf Among Us is good. I thought it was better than season 2 of The Walking Dead.

I let Asher die at the end of Episode 5 I think because in the heat of the moment I thought it made a better story line lol. Was pissed at myself though because I really liked the Asher character. And his death really pissed me off.

Basically everyone died in Episode 6 (just like real GoT) but I was still shocked that they killed Mira. It was just like when they killed Eddard Stark in season 1 of GoT. I kept thinking something was gonna happen to stop it but nope. I should have known. And I'm with you on not being able to marry her off to that douche bag. Maybe if he could have been able to help but **** that mess he was selling.

All in all I thought it was pretty good. I have both Walking Dead seasons but only played part of season 1 so far. It's solid. I've played part of the Jurassic Park game and it's just okay. I actually have a few episodes of the Life is Strange but haven't gotten around to it. Just not enough time lol.

Moral of the story is, when you're ****ed, you're ****ed. Many times, your choices do not matter.

1. I'm surprised so few people kept Mira alive. I wonder what they're going to do in season 2 for the people who had her die. Hopefully there will be some way to leverage Morgryn; I'm afraid they'll turn Mira into a NPC.

2. I cast my lot in with Gwyn; it seemed like the most sensible option. All I'd have to do is wipe out Gryff (check) and his brothers (one is dead, one is a maester, leaving one left) and then a Forrester would rule Highpoint and Ironrath.

I'll probably wait a few chapters in to buy season 2. The chapters were so inconsistent and while chapter 6 was one of the better ones (along with 4), they killed any momentum they had by taking so long to finish it.

One thing about TellTale that isn't even a spoiler...

If you have a choice to keep a character alive in one way or another...that character will be written out of the story or killed off anyway for good later on.

I waited until I finished season 4 of the show before starting this. 3 episodes in and I'm enjoying this game a lot.
