EA Making "The Godfather"

I loved mafia PC Version, i hope ea doesnt just remake the movie, hopefully there is a "new" storyline. they have the license for the movie though

This is old news to me. I found out about this about 2 weeks ago on CNN but I couldn't find a link. I think the safest bet is to do a port of the movie(s). I don't exactly know how it'd play out but I would definately give it a look.

So that would be 3 games in the can right away then they can go ahead and do something original after. This would insure that the GODFATHER series would be a long running and profitable game.

I hope they do it right and make as many playable characters as possible. And not just Michael. I would love to play as Frank Pantangeli or Hyman Roth.
