Well looks like I will be receiving another copy on Friday. I saw one of my old eBay connects dumping copies in the $400-$500 range. PM'd him and asked could he cut me some slack and he sent me an invoice.

I've brought this guy a ton of business over the years and he returned the favor. Grateful is the word I will use.

Also was able to grab this gem for $125 from a coworker who bought the new Elite system yesterday. He already had just bought 2 Elite controllers on release so he sold me the one from his new system. It's pretty damn nice.

Additional thoughts...

The interactions and dialogue with NPCs is light years ahead of Fallout 3. I love the voiced protagonist. Characters are believable and more real.

Gun combat is much closer to a first-person shooter.

Power armor is fun and makes you feel over-powered (in a good way) against raiders. Parts of your power armor can get blasted off.

When you turn your Pip-Boy light on (on Playstation 4) a green light emits from the controller.

These things in a Fallout game, is a big Thumbs Up.

I hear there is no hardcore mode and weapon degradation. Can you confirm this?

Confirmed.

That's too bad. I loved Hardcore mode in New Vegas. It made it more realistic in my opinion. It certainly won't prevent me from buying it.

Disappointed the graphics aren't better. The screenshots I saw looked fantastic.

I'm unsure to what extent mods and or patches work but do you guys think weapon degradation, hardcore mode, and the guns appearing when holstered can be modded or patched in?

Technically Bethesda doesnt even give Fallout NV any mind because to them it doesnt exist. So technically it isnt a missing feature from Fallout 3 to Fallout 4.

Disappointing Graphics is a given. Its always been the content and not the look with Fallout and Elder Scrolls and I am fine with that. It was mentioned that it looks better than Skyrim (IMO that looked pretty well) so its fine with me.

Im just hoping I dont get Fatigued at the Color Pallet like I did with Fallout 3. That was the main reason I never finished it. Got tired of the same brown/black/grey color scheme all over the place.

Also with Mods coming to consoles I am sure this be one of them that will work on consoles. I got a feeling that almost every mod will work on Consoles except Texture/ENB mods. Im just hoping the Killable Children Mod is allowed on consoles. Bethesda seem keen on adding brats to their games.

The child city of Fallout 3 and the Brats in the first city of Skyrim jump out immediately.

Patched, maybe, don't really know. Modded hell yes. I mean if people can mod Skyrim to where you are fighting Randy "Macho Man" Savage instead of dragons. Also there is a hardcore mode mod in Fallout 3 on PC. http://whatculture.com/gaming/the-te...t-3-mods.php/6 read about here.

There is nothing to "fear" about it. Bethesda specifically was working with Microsoft to get this kind of thing done on the Xbox one so they obviously would have a system in place. Ps4 might be different since they keep saying "We hope to have it next year" which is not as concrete sounding.
