    Re: Fallout 4

Anyone know how you grow settlements? Is it only a matter of building the recruitment tower?

Also I killed a raider wearing power armor and she glitched through the floor, then I kept hearing explosion noises from below. I'm guessing I won't get that power armor back.

I also ran into my first legendary raider. As a level 9 it did not go so well. I feel like this game has considerably more deadly traps and enemies than Fallout 3. I haven't even gone that far from Sanctuary and still find occasion to get wrecked.

Okay I just tested out the whole equipping your settlers with weapons discussion. Give them no ammo and they'll just try to gun bash or switch to a melee weapon. Give them only one round of ammo and they'll have an unlimited supply. That included up through 5mm minigun. I didn't test a fat man, there wasn't one at the settlement I tested at.

Forgot to add a fair warning: don't display stuff on shelves. I displayed a Vault Boy lunchbox on a shelf in my house in Sanctuary and it disappeared today when I loaded the save. I've seen people storing/displaying inter alia guns and ammo on shelves to take screens and I don't know if that stuff also goes away when you exit the game.

I've ran into a more then a couple "farmers" or "settlers" in the waste in need of some small help in some way. After helping them they're just like "thanks for the help friend" and wander off. Like Wtf? I've got a settlement just over the hill you could help with and I don't get a dialog option to suggest it? I guess the tower is the only way.

Of you kill anyone in a suit you can't get that suit period. Gotta make them get out first. Then kill them.

Whenever i take someones armor it makes me "steal" it every time i get in. Doesnt matter if i kill them before or after i get in it. And Piper doesnt seem to like that very much.

When does the story start being a part of the game? The Witcher kind of spoiled me. Right now, this just seems to be a lot of gameplay and not much meaningful dialogue.

I noticed that too Pappy, but still enjoying the hell out of the game, managing settlements, exploring the wasteland, modifying guns and just basic crafting. Kind of forgot about the missing storyline until I read this post, hahaha!

I dont think they have any weight to them. check you inventory again

If they are destroyed they have no weight. If they have any armor left they do.

                      Two things:

                      1. Dogmeat is my pack mule. He can basically carry everything. With the amount I have him carrying right now, he would be a 4 wagon caravan.

                      2. Dialogue: Wish it was more dynamic. Example: I clear a place and unknowingly come across a quest item. Then later meet the quest giver for the item they want retrieved. The dialogue ends with the assumption that the quest item still exists in said place, but I know it doesn't because I cleared that place. So I immediately strike up another conversation and then it's like... Here's that item you were looking for.

Now if I had waited weeks in between where I found this quest item and then met the quest giver I probably would have forgotten that I cleared the facility and gone back there looking for it, wasting time.

Can anyone confirm this game saves on the cloud? My brother is down for the week and he's picking up an Xbox with this Black Friday. He's logged into his live account on my console sinking hours into this. Going to suck for him if it's not.

Idk how it works on Xbox but on PS4 you can manually chose to save certain things to the cloud. Good to do at times just to be sure you have something.

Maybe mine is different but power armor pieces weight 0 when not installed on a power armor frame. JS.

I'm like 85 percent sure Xbox does it automatically.

The PS4 does as well. But you can also do it manually just to be safe.
