Mine is kind of wrong. The symbols mean the same thing but the way the damage is reduced has changed a bit. You can read about it all here. To much math for me.

Started to build up the gas station last night. Think it's time to start actually playing the game. I'm officially low on everything. Once I start building I can't stop though.

I have done basically no building so far in about 30-40 hours playtime. All I've done is make Goodsprings barely hospitable and beefed up security and scrapped everything there and the gas station. Building houses confused me.

And the places I set up outposts at kept getting raided and it was annoying so I started ignoring everywhere but Sanctuary. I'll maybe come back to that stuff later, but for now, forget about it.

I've finally hit my stride. Got thousands of bullets, some sleek armor, a rifle that does crazy damage, around 12k caps. Unfortunately my settlements are still basura. Anyway it takes a minute but when the game starts clicking it's just too much fun.

It says in the description you should have received the code 7-10 days and I have not received anything

I'm not in desperate need of it but I was curious if anybody else had
I preordered months ago and got the code like at the 10 day-ish mark....I've downloaded FO3 but haven't checked it out....This week I haven't had any gaming time (sick kid, among other things)

Damn how do you have so many caps? I'm pretty much living cap by cap. Selling melons, guns and ammo I don't need but then I turn right around and use those caps on stuff I do need.

Only one of my settlements has been raided. Once you get the defense up I think they become less desirable.

I'll check that out when I get home.... It said in the description it would be sent in a message

I haven't had much time to put into the game, so right now my guy looks like a hipster with fedora and sunglasses and armor that looks like it was made out of a rusty chair. Seriously, it's so sad, but it gets the job done for now.

I wonder if I can just drop a few turrets and be better? Haven't had time where I've wanted to do settlement building....I'm so limited that when I play I enjoy the exploration.

Yup. Or even just build a guard stand and assign a settler to it.

Just for future reference. Is there somewhere to check what my settlers are assigned to at quick glance?

                              If not, what horrible design.

I also started putting chef hats on all my farmers and gas masks and some type of military suit on my settlers working guard stations. Kind of helps me know who is doing what on my settlements. It can be a pain otherwise.
