Thus far (games I own and have completed)



1. MLB The Show 15

2. Fallout 4

3. Madden 16

4. NBA 2K16

5. NHL 16

6. Everyone Has Gone To Rapture

7. Wolfenstein The Old School

8. Rocket League (got it free on PS Plus)


Those have been all my purchases for 2015 and will be it for this year.

The Show is a game I adore and it is easily my #1 and the best version of the iconic baseball franchise to date.

Fallout 4 is simply amazing. I am addicted hopelessly to this incredible game and this will be in my console for a few hundred hours easy. It has surpassed Skyrim for me personally as my all time favorite RPG ever.

Madden 16 IMO is one of the best console football games ever made. With this 3rd patch it has basically made this game an all time great and with 3 outstanding classic rosters available to boot (1986, 1990 and soon 1999) I will be playing M16 till M17 comes out.

NBA 2K16 is simply a treat. True sports sim that is the total package with depth, customization and the very best presentation in sports video gaming.

NHL 16 is a total blast. I am playing a MyGm Panthers franchise and loving every minute of it.

Everyone Has Gone To Rapture must be experienced. A gem of a game.

Wolfenstein The Old School is an awesome romp and if you loved The New Order this prequel will feel cozy.

1- Madden NFL 16 (best Madden in over a decade and an extremely pleasant surprise)

2- Rocket League (the most multi-player fun I've had in a long time)

3- Life is Strange (another pleasant surprise, very original and engrossing game)

4- Battlefront (I've barely scratched the surface, but this game is absolutely gorgeous)

5- MLB 15 The Show (they're just going through the motions at this point, but their motions are still very well done for the most part)

For me The Witcher 3 is the best game of the year and everything else is a very distant second.

2015 GOTY will definitely come down to Witcher 3 and Metal Gear Solid 5. I predict MGS5 will be the overall winner.

For me The Witcher 3 is the best game of the year and everything else is a very distant second.

I agree. I think, in terms of my personal gaming bubble, Witcher 3 blew away everything this year.

Game made the biggest leap out of all the sports games, imo. Haven't enjoyed Madden this much in over a decade.

I didn't include any traditional sports games on my list. Of those, NBA 2K16 and Fifa are top dogs. Madden is good and improved a lot. The Show was solid as well.

a top 10 games list for 2015 (or 2014) is like a top 10 list of favourite things to eat at mcdonalds ... list gets dry pretty quick.

Really? I agree in regards to 2014 but 2015 has been a very good year for me personally. I do have a few more games at 7/10 than I did last year but I also have more games at 9/10 or higher. The Witcher III is still leading to be my game of the year. While I haven't finished the game yet, im near the end and can honestly say that Rise of the Tomb Raider will at worse, finish second in my top ten. Add in Mad Max and AC Syndicate at 9/10 and still having Bloodborne, Dragon Quest Heroes, Dying Light, Fallout 4 and finishing MGSV, I don't see my top ten having a game lower than an 8/10 and will have more games in the 9 range than I did a year ago. So many good games this year and a few surprises and sleeper hits. Compared to 2014, 2015 should be considered a far better year for PS4 and Xbox One. Don't see how it couldn't be.

I'd honestly have to give my #1 to Madden 16 this year. Its easily the best madden we have ever received.

All these might not of released in 2015, but I got to them in 15 which is why they are MY top 10.
