EA deserves it. They made this mess by forcing their developers to launch unfinished products. It has been happening with their sports titles for years because that just is what a sports game is, a never ending cycle of unfinished games.

Now they are doing it with seemingly every game they make just to try and get a leg up on the competition via hitting the market earlier rather than, oh I don't know maybe having a better product...

I'm glad to see EA being DDoSed and if I could do it myself without worrying about being caught I totally would.

Sure everyone who bought these games has the right to be mad about it but put more blame on EA because I guarantee that if they didn't force the launch of BF3.1 to beat InvisiDoody 8 and actually allowed DICE to finish the game this wouldn't be happening right now.

but if you want to effect EA, why not do that through a means that hurts them, not the ones playing their game.

Boycotts are impossible because there's just too many people that don't know any better. Yes A DDoS hurts those playing the games but it in a way can send a message to the company that says, "Hey, you messed up big time." Much louder than a select few boycotting the games.

The whole problem is that videogames are not held to the same standard as any other type of software. You don't buy Autodesk only to find 40% of what they say is in there isn't or it doesn't work, plus the cloud doesn't work either. That just will not happen because they would take a beating for it. So why then is it allowed in the video game industry to do the same things?

EA does this crap and then they pay for good reviews so their terrible games look good and their sales stay up. It's the same sort of crap that Ubisoft, 2K and Activision/Blizzard all pull and it's disgraceful.
