Im loving this game. In this day and age to see a game of this quality created by only one guy, from concept to release is just amazing. I would have bought it just for this reason but it is a whole lot of fun and I am really enjoying it.

This is another one of those games that just makes time seem to disappear for me. Last night started playing around 8, next thing I know it's midnight and I need to go to sleep.
The pure addictiveness of this game reminds me of when I play CK2 and just completely forget about anything else going on in the world.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

I want to get this but I don't know. Is there icons that show how much food you need for (x) people?
Like for example:
Food count/Need
350/300 means plenty of food
50/300 means hardly any food
$20 is a great price and easily doable but just wanting to see a liltte bit more with others coming out.Comment

Re: Banished: City-building strategy game early 2014
This game is a whole ton of fun. My first town got wiped out by a tornado and forced me to start over. Then my second town was doing fine until I forgot to build a cemetery (very important). They all got unhappy stopped reproducing and all died of age. However the game doesn't end when you have no people. I also didn't have a town hall do I don't know what might have happened had I not restarted.
My only issues with the game is there isn't much to it but it is also only made by one person. What I mean by this is that once you get all the stuff there's kinda nothing else to strive for other than make lots of people. Second I feel like fire is way too devastating and too hard to put out. You'd think stone houses would stop it some.
Overall though it is quite a fun game.Comment

Re: Banished: City-building strategy game early 2014
That's pretty great, this game is alot about learning but once you learn it, it becomes fairly easy.
If I had seen something like that though I would have made paul a miner or stonecutter until he died.
Also building a market will not let this happen.Last edited by metalmilitia623; 02-24-2014, 12:01 AM.Comment

Also all jokes aside can you really not play this game and watch golf at the same time? Or is it due to a location issue where your PC and TV are not one in the same?Comment

Re: Banished: City-building strategy game early 2014
Regardless though... I wanted to watch golf which is > Gaming for me (by a long ways) plus I like relaxing with thing at a time.
Gaming is maybe 3rd or 4th on my list of to do's when certain things are all going on at same time.Last edited by Skyboxer; 03-02-2014, 10:31 PM.Joshua:
