What do i need.....

To play videogames in High definition. After I get the HD tv, am I good to go or do a need a high definition reciever and all that crap???

You will the HiDef pack for the XBOX along with component cables, then you will be in gaming heaven! If it's for the PS2 I think your [censored] out of luck.

thanks man thats it? Ive heard of people talking about having to spend hundreds of dollars on high definition boxes to go along with there tv, but maybe thats just for high def shows. If thats all i need then aweosme.

Correct, if your new HDTV does not have a built in decoder then yes you will need to spend a few hundred $$'s and buy a seperate decoder\tuner to watch TV shows in HD but as for gaming in HD this is all you need!

Don't forget to get the component cables along with the HI-Def pack when your ready. Now, that I think about it believe the cables come with the pack....
