Re: If you could only play one game for the rest of your life
It's such a tough questions with a lot of variables: if it's online, who i play with, is it pre patch, post patch, can you switch patches on and off, if you are playing online is the entire community there or is it played how it is today with fewer people on and hack jobs. If I'm stuck in time playing one game it would be either COD: World at War or Modern Warfare 2. If i can only play one game and its continuously advancing in our current world with less and less people playing, I'd say Red Dead Redemption, Madden 2003 for PS2, or NFL 2k5 for PS2.PSN: pastor_glidds

Re: If you could only play one game for the rest of your life
It would almost have to be a good sports game since we can have so many seasons in those. NHL'14 (once Revamped Rosters are out) or NBA 2K14 (PS3) would be my choice.#LFC

Re: If you could only play one game for the rest of your life
One game...........hummmm..........well I'll do it as a two choice option.
1) If the online servers were to hypothetically stay full.
The Hidden
*Most I'm sure have never heard of it. It was a half life mod that was a full game. I was one of the top 5 players and wrecked shop in it for several years. One of the most enjoyable online games for me.*
2) If the online servers were to represent current state and potential singleplayer only as the years go on.
ARMA 2
*So much control from map creation to mission creation, that the replay ability would never end.*Comment

Re: If you could only play one game for the rest of your life
Probably Skyrim. The only reason I don't still play the crap out of it is due to guilt. I feel like I neglected so many games because of Skyrim, so I stopped playing it. The itch is still there though, and with so many different ways to play through the game, I could play it for years.
MLB 13 The Show is also a solid choice as well.Comment

Re: If you could only play one game for the rest of your life
As others said, if I could freeze a game in time either at its heyday or at a certain expansion:
ChronX, one of the earliest online ccg's. It was so much deeper and more interesting than any on the market today.
I might also be willing to play Everquest if it was frozen right around the Scars of Velious expansion. (Frozen. Heh)
If not, I would be torn between a FIFA game, a Bethesda game (fo3 probably) or Civ 4 or 5. Or Company of Heroes...crap this is hard.
