Re: Good single player games?
You said RPG's are an option? I personally loved Infinite Undiscovery for the 360. Square Enix game, story is solid, and I picked it up from Game Stop a year or two ago for $10. So much to do in that game, and endgame there's actually an entire "Seraphic Gate" which is basically "challenge mode" where you have to go through old areas with revamped enemies with a really tough final boss at the end (Ethereal Queen)
Also, The Last Remnant was pretty fun. Another Square title and it also was pretty deep/interesting to me. There was a lot to mess around with in that game in terms of building and developing your guild and guild's members. Another bargain bin game, probably would be $10-20 to get it used.
EDIT: But if you don't still have the 360, Infinite Undiscovery is a dumb suggestion. The Last Remnant is available on Steam for $9.99 (just checked.) But that shows what I get for skimming over the OPLast edited by TheNumber35; 02-13-2014, 02:54 PM.Check out my Houston Astros Dynasties:

......You could get a great single player game, called getting a J.O.B. You actually get paid to play it, although its not always that fun, but you can put in at least 40 hours a week at it so it has a lot of replay value. You might even level up if you keep at it enough.

Re: Good single player games?
@ the Candyman. If you still have a PS3, maybe give Metro Last Light a chance? Heard it has a real good story. Even better, it's free if you have PS+.

Re: Good single player games?
When I played Demons Souls, I just looked on here
http://demonssouls.wikidot.com ..to learn about what the stats and such meant. Just the mechanics of the game though, I'd avoid all spoiler-ish stuff though, as it's best to 'go in blind' in that regard. Anyway, the Souls games have some of the best (if not the best) action combat in an rpg and great atmosphere too, so they really are worth it.
Did anybody mention Deus Ex: Human Revolution ?
I thought it was better than Mass Effect and there's a director's cut version out now too (with additional content and other stuff)
Dishonored (has a GotY too now)
Want a pc rpg with a great story/writing/dialogs/characters/setting ?

Re: Good single player games?
Well for right now it looks to be between Dark Souls and Kindoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
Really want to get into Dark Souls but the PC issues (I know there are fixes) are scaring me away and as for Reckoning I played a little on 360 and was interested but never got into like I should have. As a RPG nut these games are right up my alley from the customization to your character to the freedom of go do what you want.
I never actually played Neverwinter or Balders Gate either. Wasteland 2 looks like a fun one as well.PS4 Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/candyman5os

Re: Good single player games?
I been bored recently and wanted to start playing some single player games. I have a PS4 and PC now so my choices are limited.
I played skyrim (loved it) and tried playing Fallout 3 and new Vegas and just can't get into those. Not sure why but I find myself getting bored of them. Maybe it's the lack of a color pallet or something but who knows.
I was just wanting some suggestions. I prefer something with a good story or RPG based but anything will do.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
LOVED both of them and highly recommend.
My brother also has really, really enjoyed the latest Assassins Creed game.
I think all 3 are available for PS4 and/or PC.
And if you can get a copy of Red Dead for PC, I highly recommend that as well.Comment
