"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Kotaku Hands On:
The Batmobile operates in two modes. On a chase, pursuit mode is most appropriate. This is the Batmobile at its most blazingly fast speeds. Imagine a situation in which you, as Batman, are gliding through the air and need to make a transition into a chase. Players can call in their vehicle, swoop and glide into the driver's seat from above, and continue on their pursuit in style. In the roughly 15-20 minutes of the game that I played, I didn't get a chance to perform any suave moves that the Rocksteady crew did during their presentation, but I could tell it's something you'd have to get the hang of. And once you do, it certainly looks like Batman-levels of cool.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
For Rocksteady to need a lil' extra time tells me that this game should be a bit bigger and deeper than any game they've done before.
I'm okay with that. I need something epically awesome to wash the taste of mediocrity that was Arkham Origins.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
That video was insane. Don't know how I feel about the Batmobile. I like the idea but it just seemed weightless or something. The driving and then it going into full tank mode had me like 'meh'.
I'm sure I'll be All for it as most videos don't do justice for me until I can play.5Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
I would like if Rock Steady release a remastered version for PS4 and Xbox One. I would love to be able to play the first 2 games on PS4 before I play this one. It would let us relive the Story of the game. But other than that I would love to play it when it release.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Well it not like the series is like Halo and counties to make new games while they give you remastered version. The only reason why I said it is because not many people played the first two games and this is Rock Steady last Batman Arkham game so it not a bad idea. Yes It is getting played out but I find them mostly for the people that never played those games. Don't understand why people get hyped for something they already played.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Granted, I'm sure dev kits don't come on an actual PS4...so technically, it could've been a PC. Just spec'd out to PS4 levels.Comment
