Eurogamer: How the Batmobile opens up Arkham Knight's next-gen Gotham

Back at street level, Gotham is a more characterful place than the sometimes drab, indistinguishable districts of Arkham City. Through all the chaos churned up by the Batmobile - and there really is an awful lot of chaos, with a heavy storm of litter and debris circling the vehicle when it hits speed - a sense of identity begins to emerge. There are the dreary slums, of course, but there are now splashes of colour too: Chinatown streams by in a flash of lurid neon, the wet streets glistening with pools of reflected yellow and red light.
Polygon: Arkham Knight gives Batman an all-new foe, a bigger Gotham and a 'wrecking ball' of a ride

"[After Arkham City,] we were thinking about, 'Where do we go next? How do we fulfill that ultimate Batman power fantasy?'" he explained. "For us, the Batmobile was the final piece of the puzzle. We've been wanting to do it for a long time, but really needed next-gen horsepower to pull that off."

"It changes Batman's abilities in every conceivable way," Ginn said. "We didn't want the Batmobile to feel like a bolted-on driving section, we wanted it to feel completely integrated into Batman's move set in every single way. It augments his ability to move through the city, his navigational abilities, his offensive abilities, his defensive abilities. Every feature of the Batmobile has been designed to integrate with Batman's move set in a very particular way."

Gordon looks significantly smaller since AA.

He looks more proportioned....the arms are longer compared to Asylum and City. I was never a fan of the stubby looking arms and he looks a lot more lethal to me in this version.

I always buy the PC version but I may double dip and get the PS4 as well Love the fact that they are going next gen as well!

Game looks absolutely stunning. Looks like it is going to be one of the better looking (And playing) NG games this year.

This game looks great. Not really in love with the Arkham Knight bad guy idea right now.

I haven't played any of the Arkham games, but I'm going to go through them before this comes out. I found Arkham Asylum for $10, and Arkham City is free next month for PS+ members. That way, I'll be more in the loop when this is released. This game looks outstanding for sure, and I'm looking forward to it!

Man you been missing out, seriously get both now. One of the most enjoyable video game series I've ever played.

I'll definitely be buying a ps4 a day before this releases.

Yeah with how awesome this looks I'll definitely be downloading Arkham City and buying Asylum so I'll be ready for Knight, doubt I'll get to any of them soon with my backlog of games right now but hopefully this summer.
