Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Maybe it's because im used to the "Ubisoft" style when it comes to open world games but I actually prefer that. Or even in Witcher 3. Imagine if you had to find everything by just wandering around. You would never ever finish the game. Games like Far Cry 3/4 took me around 80 hours to complete 100%. AC IV took 120 hours and Rogue took about 80 hours. If the locations of the side quests and whatnot weren't on the map, who knows how long it would take to finish all the extra stuff.
At the very least, there should be an on/off option for the locations to be on the map. That way, it's up to the player. Either way, to each their own.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
So I don't know if you guys have heard this but it sounds like the crime fighter stuff has now been moved up to august from September. Also we have the batmobile 89 and suit coming out this month. So know it sounds like we are having a lot of stuff coming out in just one month this month makes me wonder what else we may get and if there are more surprised going forward. Here is a link to the arkham knight forums about it.
Now if that is all true the season pass may be better and may have more stuff then people thought.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Wow Really all over a Challenge map? Honestly I could care less about the challenge maps I never played em & never will there is certainly more to this game then challenge maps.
I was glad they omitted em to me they were to differcult & rigged plus took up space for other awesome dlc.
I would just enjoy the DLC as there's more to this awesome game then challenge maps I know some of u like em but I love the choice factor don't add something to a game I don't intend to use & taking up space at least I won't have to download it so having a choice is good.
No disrespect but I can understand the reason they left it out.
Outside of the 2 battles with the Arkham Knight & his big vichals in campaign & the Riddle Stuff I've actually enjoyed this game it's deep in content & more keeping it fresh is what I like..
Enjoy the game while u can cuz it sounds like there will not be another batman gm again for a long time.
Now plz release a Superman game & ill buy it as we not had one since ps2 & its looooooong overdue!! Cya all. Later

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
This game isn't doing it for me. Not a fan of the driving parts for the most part and they seem to make up a good chunk of the game.
Wrestling with trading it in as the desire to play just isn't there. And I was pumped as hell for it to release. Such a shame.Comment

You are glad they left them out of the main game because you don't like them? But you are ok with them holding them back and charging people that like them for what should have already been there?Comment

Asylum and City both did great jobs at blending the use of platforming, puzzle-solving, and gadget implementation as well as blending combat and predator gameplay throughout the story. Knight's story is small dashes of those things with a major dump of Bat Tank.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
I can see ur guys points about so much use of the batmobile I totally understand it was overdone that said I do enjoy using it though that said we still have the option to free roam if we choose I know story mostly tied to it but most of the side missions are options
I free roamed for majority of the side missions & thankfully both options are still there
Not saying they should change $$ for challenge maps that was omitted from Arkham Knight when they were in the other batman games but I also understand they have to make there money somewhere as not everything in this world is free...
I believe the real reason they left it out was because mabye it wasn't intended to be added to the game in 1st place this time around.
I believe there only bringing em back because of the demand 4 them.
So yes if they weren't intended to be a part of game then I can understand charging 4 them because they had to use resources & other stuff that cost $$$ to make em plus they have to pay Sony & Microsoft $$$ to put em in the Store plus the most popular features always generates $$$$ so there charging 4 something in high demand & they have to make money somehow so I can see both sides of the views from u guys + WB/ Rocketstudy.
And I agree about Arkham City & Arkham Asylum both amazing games I understand where ur coming from & yes I know the Batmobile overuse is annoying but I do actually find it fun to drive + knowing I still have the option to Free Roam so hopefully you will find some way to like this gm again I know it can be annoying but its not as bad as Orgins I hated that gm & stopped playing it due to all the bugs & unfixed Glitches like Emenies bottom half of there bodies stuck underneath rooftops & unkillable & able to move around at least with Arkham Knight we Don't encounter anything like that.
Have a great day

While challenge maps are like 60% of the games replay value and are like the best part of the arkham games. You are one of a very few people that don't like challenge maps. I don't know how any one doesn't like challenge maps. I would say like 95% of people like challenge maps and with getting them in now has DLC that means part of the money for the season pass is going towards stuff that should have been in the game day 1. Still a great game but much lower replay value right now then the other games because of this.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Game is pretty good, but I'm starting to get very annoyed with the riddler trophies/challenges. I think I have about 150 of the 243 available, now I'm a little burned out. Some of them I absolutely NEVER would have found if not for the internet, and that really pisses me off because I've never been one to use strategy guides and cheats.
Still have around 28% of the main game to finish, haven't touched the Lucious, penguin, or statue of liberty side quests yet and I'm sure there are a few more that I'm forgetting to list. Point being, definitely worth the money. Tons of things still left to finish (maybe not the riddler trophies) and I haven't even delved into the DLC or actually started to read the extra story stuff on the map/pause screen.Comment
