Anyways:
- The game is due out this November for Xbox
- It uses the new Havok physics engine (awesome)
- You can call in air strikes
- You can shoot down enemy aircraft
- The game is now viewed in 3rd person like Socom 2
- 16 player Live play, lots of stuff on this at E3
- You can call in armor support
- Lots of vehicles, you can't drive them, but you may be able to hitch rides on them.
- Graphics look great, not Halo 2 amazing, but they do look a lot better than the first GR. The levels look really nice, water looks gorgeous.
- The Havok engine allows for levels to be destroyed in certain parts, explosions and crashes directly effect your combat area. Buildings can collapse.
- The game is set in the far east
- Jeeps, Gunships, tanks, jet fighters all support you.
- Sound is appreantly greatly improved, tank blasts will sound super loud and realistic, etc.
- New night vison effects.
- Player can use soliders to laser sight targets for planes to drop bunker buster bombs on.
- Havok engine allows for real bounces for grenades and debris. Bodies that fly and crumple realisticly, persistant bullet holes, craters, and plenty of destructible scenery.
- Devs talk about how they are really taking advantage of the Xbox hardware this time around.
- Cool tracer fire at night.
- RS3 like voice commands via XBL headset. Easier orders for team members.
- Dev says the game has upped everything in scale and they want to show the emotion and intensity of war.
Can't wait for this game to come out.
