    Duh!!

I'm gonna try to pick it up tonight but I dont know, I may just wait more because I wanna get some more races in online on TOCA. But since I'll only end up paying 15 bucks for it, I should go ahead and pick it up today. I may try to get that 15 bucks from Vice City, a game I have'nt played in almost a year. Has it even been a year?

How is TOCA??? I've been thinking about getting it since it's only $30.

TOCA's an amazing racing game. The Career mode is fun, but racing online just rocks. I'd pick it up, especially for only 30 bucks. Check the Racing forum for more impressions...Guys like Terry say it's the best racing game out there, so you know it's good

Its designed to be a stealthy kind of action game. You could playy through it as a shoot 'em up, but that would be missing out on the "experience of being a hitman." You can use disguises to reach restricted areas undetected. (only in the Hitman world does everyone wear the exact same size clothing ). For example in Hitman 2, to get on the mobsters property with no trouble, you could take out the courier and steal his clothes to disguise yourself as a maliman (but you have to remember to ditch your weapons because you get searched at the gate)

Another level you have like 15 minutes or something to get to a building where a meeting is taking place between some crime lords (i think) and you have to kill one of them using a sniper rifle aimed into one of the windows, but you can't just kill everyone--you are only supposed to kill the guy the contract is out on.

The ragdoll physics from some of the weapons are kind of exagerrated, but not that bad. Hitman 2 is a Platinum Hits, if anyone cares to pick it up.

Pretty barebones description, but I liked Hitman 2--still have to finish it, though.

Just think Splinter Cell with more ways to complete a mission.

On Hitman, each level starts off with you having to assasinate(sp?) someone. You basically have to make it from point "A" to point "B" back to point "A" without without being detected. Not in the since that you have to hide in the shawdows like SC, but you have to indeed walk right pass the enemies, groups of them sometimes. The thing that seperates this from SC, is in Hitman, you have to find disguises in order to get pass the enemies. And you have multiple ways to get to point "A".

For example, one of my favorite levels on Hitman 2 was this hospital level. You had to kill a guy who was going under the knife in this hospital.

So they start you off outside the hospital (point "A"), you could of ethier,
                        1. kill a bystander outside the hospital, take his cloths and try to walk right pass the guards in the main entry of the hospital.
                        2. kill a guard walking on patrol and try to play off as a guard and walk right pass the guards in ethier a side door (which was being guarded) or the main entry
                        3. take a diffrent route to get to a fire escape and climb up to a window or the roof.

You have to hide the bodies of each person you kill so keep that in mind. Also, despite the fact that you have on a disguise, the guards will still get supicious if you're close to them and they dont like the way you look. Now I'm gonna continue from each point.

                        1. If you killed a bystander, once you get into the hospital, you can basically walk around and go inside unguarded rooms with no problem. What you have to do is go in the basement where you target is having his surgery. But the room where the elevator is at is guarded by numerous guards and you may just walk into a trap and be detected. So you can take the stairs to another floor where it's less ppl.

                        2. If you kill a guard, you can walk into a side door, and walk around undected into a room where you'll find a knife and a doctors outfit. You can take the doctors outfit and try to walk to the elevators like in 1, or you can take the stairs to another floor.

                        3. If you took the alternate route, you can climb a window to the room where the side door was for 2, and get the doctors outfit nd knife and do the same as 1 and 2.

                        ****

                        1. If you watch the pattern of the guards in the elevator room, you can figure out a way to sneak pass the guards to get right to the elevator. But its risky. If you took the stairs, you can go to that room where the doctors outfit is and find another stair case that will take you to the basement. Its guards everywhere so none of this is simple. While fiddling around looking for a way to get downstairs, you look up and see a vent cover which you can go through.

                        2. By now you have the doctors outfit but you decide that you wanna take the other stair case to get to the basement. By watching the pattern of the guards, you find a way to get throught the door that leads to the basement stair case.

                        3. On this one, you decide to take the elevator. So you sit and watch for your chance to sneak past numerous guards and you finnally figure it out and make(with countless trail and error by the way) to the elevator so your headed on your way down.

                        ****

                        1. You take the safest way which is the vent shaft, you find yourself in the basement in a control room where the switch for the power is.

                        2. You get in the basement, but it guards everywhere, you must choose your movements wisely cause if they get one good look at your face you're toast. The room where your objective is (point "B") is only a few feet away. But with numerous guards protecting the room, its no way you'll be able to walk right in and finsh the job. Actually, you can if you decide to go out like Rambo, and chances are you probably can but what fun is it in doing that.

                        3. You get off the elevator, and just like you thought, guards everywhere. Along with bystanders. All of sudden, the guards thinkg you're the doctor performing the operation and tell you to head to the room to start. So you can walk into the room without anyone caring and you finish the job that way.

                        ****
                        1. In the control room, you see another vent shaft you can take and to your suprise it leads you right to the vent cover where your objective is. You have a clear shot on your target and if you choose you can end it just like that.

                        2. You can walk to the control room from the stairway, all while being watched by guards. And in the control room, you turn the power off. So now that the power is off, you can sneak pass all guards into the operating room and kill your target without anyone knowing and escape while its still dark and get away scott free.

                        3. While in the operating room, you can actually perform the surgery and "accidentally" mess up and kill your target. (I smell a malpractice suit) But now, the guards realize what you have done and they open fire on you. You must run for your life. You can even run into the control room and turn the lights off then and try to escape. Take the shaft back up or just run throuhg the door you came in on 2.

Now that your objective is complete, you still ave to get back to point "A". Good luck.

And for most mission, killing you target is;nt the only objective. Sometimes you have to kill 2 ppl, maybe 3. You may have to bug a breifcase, save a person, steal a document....etc. Now if your were patient enough to read all of this, you can see that I care for this game deeply. One of my all-time favs. Hopes that explains enough.

Actually, you can if you decide to go out like Rambo, and chances are you probably can but what fun is it in doing that.

graphik, I read through all that and I'll have to get Hitman 2...play through that and by then 3 will be cheaper i bet. Thanks for the impression, I really enjoyed SC:PT, but it'll be nice to have a few less restrictions (don't have to be in the dark all the time) but have the same sort of gameplay
