Hmm...a little off-topic, but maybe a question you guys can answer...do they check to see if the PS2 has DRE problems? And if so, do they give anything for those ones?

yea they check. I took mine in with about 10 games to get the xbox bundle and he told me he would give me 200 bucks for all that stuff. I was happy as hell, didnt think i would have to pay a penny for the xbox. Then the drama came as he started to hook up the PS2 to the tv they had on the side. I held my breath cuz I knew some games work and some didnt. He put in Metal Gear and it loaded up fine and I thought i was in the clear but then he put in some other games and it kept coming up with the disc error. Instead of the 85 bucks It got knocked down to 35 or so but still not bad consider I got 150 towards the xbox.

If they would have offred me $35 dollars for my PS2, I would have packed it up and taken it back home. They're going to take it and have it refurbished and sell it for more than $35.
