    Concerning EA and multi-taps

Ok the guy at EB told me that Mad Catz's multitap was better than Sony's. So I bought it. But now most of my EA sports game (ps2) seem to have the following problem when I use the Mad Catz multi-tap:

They can't read the memory cards in them.

I saw that problem with those games: NHL 2004 and Nascar 2004.

But Madden 2004 and Rising Sun seem to be able to read the mem cards. (A-1, B-1 and so on)
So is this a problem with the games or with Mad Catz?

I'd like to know so I could get a refund on that multi-tap and buy one that would detect saves for NHL and Nascar.

    Thanks

NEVER buy 3rd party stuff. Always buy the Sony or Microsoft products. I have the Sony multitap and it works like with no problems.

1st party stuff is the MOST compatible with consoles. Even tho it may cost an extra $5 - $10, it's well worth it.
Cameras or guns, one of them is gonna shoot me to death.

Have you tested it with NHL and Nascar? Cuz mine worked fine 'cept those 2 games...
