    Civilization: Beyond Earth

New Civilization game is based around colonizing a new planet. Looks interesting.

Remaking SMAC, not that I'm complaining. I never did to play it when I was younger despite whoring the **** out of Civ II, III and IV.

Edit: Huh apparently it's currently rated pegi 18 in Europe based on the trailer. Usually most M rated games get 15+ unless it's on Fallout level or above. How the hell is a strategy game gonna get on that level?

New PC may be in need for this.

On first glance it certainly sounds like a remake. Alpha Centauri had some great features like being able to customize your units but I found it very difficult to get into because all the new technological lore was hard to follow.

Hopefully, it will be easier to understand.

Really hoping they get this to the consoles, but the idea for this seems great.

With Civ being a PC game first and foremost and modding being a central focus I really doubt this hits PS4/Xbone. It's be cool but probably clunk as hell to navigate.

Sounds really cool but I'm skeptical. Civ 5 was my first (and only) game in the series I've played. I honestly felt like the game was repetitive, and boring. No offense to those who like it but I really prefer other strategy games (like the paradox games) over civ 5. Still I hope I'm wrong because it really does sound awesome.

It was not too bad on revolution to navigate on the 360, but the game was water do n compared to pc

Same here, but I do like one unit per tile on V.

Civ V is arguably the worst in the series, you just happened to jump in too late.

It's Firaxis so it will be great.

That's what I've heard from a lot of people.

Don't get me wrong Civ 5 is still good but I never got addicted to it like other people have with previous games in the series. Xcom was amazing so I hope they follow that model more so than Civ 5
