    Re: TCrouch...City of Heroes Question

Anyone know the monthly charge for this game?

I've been following this game for what seems like forever and have always been interested, but stayed away because I'm in school and my network blocks everything.

I will be graduating in two weeks and might give this a shot when I'm home this summer.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer

For my guy, I have a blast that knocks everybody in the area on their butts, so I'll fly in, unload with that, then hit the button for the "light" blast, cycle to the "medium blast". By then, the light is usually recharged, fire that again, then toss out the area knockdown again.

With a swordsman you might throw a punch, light slash, kick, heavy slash, punch, kick, etc.

It's like a mini-fighting game. Gauging the recharge time vs. damage output vs. endurance burn.

yeah, that's how it is...I have a 'controller' character, so I tend to swoop in, use my flash, which blinds everyone near me, and then use my other attacks...I'm not as good one on one, compared to a blaster or one of the others, but I can control the crowd a bit better, everyone on a team works together

What time do you OSers usually play? (Pacific Time) I'm really on the border of buying this. I'm not sure I would be able to put in enough time in this game. I would probably only be able to get in an hour or so a night.

An hour or so a night won't do in this type of game.

We played off and on all day yesterday all the way up to 12:30 PT.

That's what I figured. What are the benifits of playing longer? How long do battles usually take?
