What's worse, most of those MoBo's with that integrated crap don't have an AGP slot, which almost all major video cards nowadays are (4x, 8x, what have you).

He has an APG slot, but he had to order a "low profile" Geo Force FX 5200 card-apparently standard ones can't fit in the slot.

I have the same computer. The only vid card that would fit in my AGP slot was a 64mb card. I talked with my buddy about the 128mb and the 256mb cards but he said they would be too big.

Not physically fitting in the slot, or not having enough room in the case due to other components?

Re: Character create problem with \"City Of Heroes\"

I started to have the same problem earlier today when I tried to create a new character using both my laptop and desktop computer, both running ATI cards. The desktop was a clean install with default drivers and the laptop was running the latest Omega drivers. I can't figure out why last night it was running good, but today it doesn't work worth a crap. Back to EB to try and get them to take it back, because I really can't afford to buy a new card to play a game.

The actual case wasn't wide enough to support the size of a 128mb vid card. Only the 64mb would fit.

Update to my problem if anyone is interested, lol. Went to EB and after they told me they couldn't give me my money back due to the cdkey being used already, they went ahead and wrote down something having to do with bad install and gave me store credit. Still trying to figure out why something works one day and crashes the next, but that's the world of computers.
