Re: How much space is on an xbox?
I've had mine for two years and it's still on 50,000+ blocks....i'm not sure how much the average game takes up, but if there are 500,000 actual blocks then it seems like Microsoft either went way overboard with it or they never used it in the way they originally planned(why would they waste money on a hard drive at least 10 times bigger than anyone will ever need? they must have thought the downloadable stuff would take off a little bit more than it did.....who knows)Comment

I've had mines for two years and I knew about the gigabyte thing but I've never heard how many bytes that equates to. The only reason it popped into my head is because my soundtrack takes about about 30,000 blocks and I have a lot of game saves.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
