    Re: Brute Force

I rented it... didn't really like it. My main problem with it was that it was supposed to be a squad-based tactical shooter, but there weren't any disadvantages to just running around killing everyone with one member of your team.

      Re: Brute Force

I rented it with some friends, I liked the 4 play co-op mode(at least i think there was a 4-player co-op.....it was a while back) but it wasn't very deep or fun to us. you could just run and shoot to get through the whole game, which would be fine if it was meant to be a run and shoot game, but like somene said, it was built as a squad-based tactical shooter. If they had went all out and just thrown in tons and tons of enemies to run and gun, it would have made it more fun.

It was a decent enough game, but I haven't been able to get into any fantasy shooter since Halo. Set the bar too high for me, I can still play a realistic game(Rainbow 6, Ghost Recon, ect...) but I haven't really found a fantasy shooter I've wanted to play much since the xbox and Halo came out.

Yeah, me and my roomate had nothing to do so we beat it in a day. We were renting it and gonna try to beat it in a week. Someone from the forums said the game was amazingly deep, that that there was little chance we could get it done in a week. So we devoted about 10 hours to it on the first day, and it turns out that's all it took.

Kind of an entertaining to player game, but nothing spectacular.

You devoted 10 hours in one day becasue somebody on the internet said you couldn't clear it in a week?

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">We had time on our hands, and I sure showed Fossen what was up.

We didn't wanna drop the $50 on the game, so we figured if we beat it during a rental period we saved ourselves $45.
