    Need help with PS1!?!

Every once in a while my sons ps1 will work and at other times it doesn't.I notice though when its not working the disk isn't spinning when I push the open button. If there is something I could do for this without spending a lot of dough somebody don't hesitate with anything helpful....

unless you know someone who could fix it for free, I'd just get him another ps1 used or new. those things aren't bound to cost much.

or you could just get a ps2. He'd be happy, you could play it, and all those ps1 games would work on it (at least they're supposed to).

Plus, they just lowered the price of them to $149.

Turn it upside down, Seriously. I had a PS1 that I had just resting on the carpet, I think it may have overheighted because the fan was blocked....Anyway it used to stop all the time, I'd open it up and the disk would be stopped, it killed me when it happened during sports games, so one day I got bent when it stopped so I turned it upside down on a hard surface and it ran like a charm ever since.

Yeah you can turn it upside downas that has proven to work or you can lay something heavy on it like a book. Dont know why this seems to do the trick but it works. Hopefully one of these will work for you.
