Did not see a thread for this, so I figured I would start the discussion. Anyone else interested in this game? I am and will be picking it up when it releases on PS4. 4 person island building for the win!

I loved Tropico 4 and will be getting this on PS4. I wish it was coming out on PS4 at the same time as the PC.MLB the Show - Cubs

I can't compare to 5 since I have not played it, but from the review I had read it is pretty similar to 4. I would love to hear a review from someone on here that has played 5.
I think I'm waiting for the console version of 5 and probably when I can find it on a decent deal. I had 4 on 360 and loved it. When it was on a cheap steam sale, I sold the xbox version and picked it up on steam. I'm sure 99% percent of people prefer to play these games with a mouse and keyboard, but I'm so used to the controller, I didn't play on the PC more than an hour. If I can play 5 on PC with a controller I might pick it up on PC.MLB the Show - Cubs

I purchased Tropico4 and then never had time to play it (bought used). Game looked a bit repetitive. How's the storyline in it (or in the series in general)?Comment

Commenting only from playing 4. I really enjoyed the game. When I picked it up I really wanted Sim City 5, but because the poor reviews I ended up going with Tropico. The story line is very light-hearted and the game has a good sense of humor. I only played through about 1/2 the missions, but each give a unique challenge. I never found the game to be repetitive but it is a city builder, so I suppose it is repetitive by nature.
If you like Sim/Management/Strategy games then you will like it, if not I would pass. I go through phases where I am addicted to Civ and this game had a similar phase for a couple months.MLB the Show - Cubs
