Tradional BF4 guys, whats your thoughts on the vehicular warfare (or lack there of?) Is it too infantry focused?

It's definitely more infantry based, it feels weird not seeing any tanks and what not but I like it. This is what I've been wanting though, a more infantry based BF game and it works great imo.

I think it allows you to purchase guns and I'm sure other stuff. However, they make it sound like you can pick and choose which guns you want to unlock by buying them. So if you want the best assault rifle you can just save up your money and buy it and never get the middle tier guns if you didn't want to.

More "feet on the ground" based? No vehicles turning the tide of battle? More on ground based firefights?

Jeez, this ought to be easy, good, fun killing. Our regular crew ought to be cleaning house and wrecking shop once this thing drops.

It unlocks weapons, equipment, etc.

I want to play more tonight. I was pressed for time last night and was trying to do two things at once so my performance suffered.

Of the two modes I like blood money more.

I've watched a stream of this and I wasn't really thinking much about this game before, however it looks like something I will really like. I definitely more of an objective/infantry type player. It looks like this game will be right up my alley. Almost a videogame version of the movie Heat.

Also like the fact that you can run up to someone who has ammo or health and take it from them, rather than them having to drop it. Pretty good addition for us guys who have jumped up and down for 5 mins in front of a support guy only to never get the ammo and die.

You can also apparently "purchase a license" to use weapons in different classes. So if you wanted to play with Sniper perks, but you wanted to use an assault rifle, you could just purchase an assault rifle license with your in-game money and use it with sniper class and have tugs or whatever sniper perks are. That really opens up the combinations. In BF4 if I could have an assault rifle, and an RPG or C4 or claymores, that would be really customizable for certain situations.

Game does look good but that video by jackfrags with the "bad" things is pretty interesting.

That self revive tool is HORRIBLE. So is the "interrogation" and map placement thing. Few others but can't remember them ATM.

Still 4-5 months til release so maybe this Beta will help sort some of those things out. I don't like the self revive tool, but on the other hand I do die a lot and eF won't revive me, so....

Hopefully the Beta will help them tweak some things. I need access to the Beta. NOW.

Still haven't got an email, but when I go to battlefield 4 and scroll over on PS4 it says something along the lines of "You have access to beta". I click on it and then it says can not access at this time

Just played for a little while. Pretty laggy, and I got stuck underneath the ground.
