I hope we have the option to play as something other then a cop though, I'd rather be a bad guy going up against the cops. I can be a nice guy in my real life, in the game I want to be breaking bad.

I would assume you have an enemy team. Wouldn't make sense to have swat vs swat lol

Just a reminder, there isn't any confirmation to this. It's just a rumor at this point. But there *will* be a Frostbite 3 powered game shown at E3 by EA

I'm the opposite. I wish they had a GTA-style game where you play a cop. Pulling people over, police chases, etc. Kind of like the old Police Quest series on PC way back when.

Some new info from the @BFDaily twitter. Ranks, equipment, and other stuff


















All are likely in some preliminary stage and might look different by the time the game comes out. I remember seeing these types of things for BF3 and BF4 and they looked different by release day.

EDIT 2: All of these are taken from Battlelog itself. So that's pretty official IMO

EDIT 3: Some additional possible info from BBlog forums:

Yeah it's probably the rumored SWAT themed BF game. I've found quite a lot of info...
EDIT1: The code-name is apparently Omaha.

EDIT2: Possible game modes: TDM, Turf War (Small and Large), Heist and Blood Mooney.

EDIT3: Possible teams: SWAT, Thieves, "LW" and "CR".

EDIT4: The game is pretty much ready for E3, Heist and Blood Mooney will be playable on the map High Tension (MP_Downtown).

EDIT5: I believe Commander mode will be available too.

EDIT6: Possible "classes" (maybe they're just loadouts): Enforcer, Mastermind, Techincian and Professional. There should be vehicles too.

EDIT7: Possible in-game store where you can buy weapons and accessories (hopefully ala CounterStrike).

EDIT8: There will be the police baton ("The police baton is used in melee combat to deter wrongdoes from bad behavior.")

A few observations:



A medal for # of arrests? Might suggest a new game mode or possibly an open world... same with the cash medal.




Grappling hook. Mean climbing up / rappelling down sides of buildings





Two different types of injections. Maybe a performance enhancer, and/or a sedative




Never seen this before, but looks like a deploy-able turrent.




Not sure if these are actual vehicles, or things to create emblems with, but assuming the former - tanks are gone. It also looks like there are non-police vehicles in here...which again might suggest an open world game....or perhaps undercover vehicles?
