I picked up the PS4 digital version and the full game has been installing at the main menu. Any thoughts to why it's taking 3 days?

I had a similar experience. I did a hard reset and when I turned my system back on it was fully installed.

I've had no issues with games, lag, etc. playing on US servers from thousands of miles away. I'm really impressed with the servers from the jump on the PS4.

It's very unlikely an EA promotion, just Best Buy working on foot traffic on the run-up to the Easter holiday.

Battlefield: Hardline (2014)

Just got a round in with some of y'all. Much better than playing with random folks. Definitely need to improve....a lot. Kinda feel like I was holding y'all back.

Was nice using the Playstation Golf headset I picked up.

Just few questions: (Note: I didn't get to play much on Battlefield 4 and haven't played in ages with y'all so don't laugh)

1) I could join Boltman's party but couldn't figure out how to get on y'all's team. Finally I randomly got teamed with y'all but squad was full. So how do I ensure I'm teamed with y'all?

2) What are Blueberries? (I assume it's players on your team but other squads but just making sure)

3) My K/D is ridiculously low any suggestions? I prefer the shotgun because of the damage but that obviously isn't working for me

4) What does being part of a Platoon change or effect?

Yea. I'm sickened by the fact that I continue to throw money at EA only to get a product that takes months to become playable.

My own fault in one respect. On the other hand it's totally unacceptable to release /charge money for a product that doesn't work.

Crosshairs and Rescue are my fav so far. 1 life equals strategy. I'd like to join the OS platoon of there are any openings.

The only to ensure you're on the right squad is to let the game continue auto balancing once you join on someone from the menu. If you ever manually switch squads the auto balancing stops and you're not put on the squad with teammates as soon as an opening comes up. That and joining a server as a squad works pretty well. It's a little annoying sometimes. Often we have to just keep trying to switch teams/squads until we get it right. I hope this makes sense.


Blueberries are indeed the other non squad members because they show up blue on the HUD and in the game.

The shotgun packs a punch, but it's not effective outdoors. You have to stay in close with it and be pretty accurate. K/D isn't the end all be all determining factor of how good you are, but my suggestion on improving it is just learning the map and be conscious of your next move. Being observant of the HUD and knowing which objectives your opponent has captured will help you determine where they are probably coming from. Most people run around like mad men in this game and it's easy to light em up by showing a little patience and letting them come to you or waiting for a better shot. I pass up chances to shoot sometimes because I know I'll just light myself up for the other team and the chance of me getting the kill isn't good . Picking and choosing who to shoot and a simple spot for your teammates goes a long way. Just some things that usually work for me, but everyone is different.



Being in a platoon doesn't do anything, really. It may be useful to help find people to play with or if you're really into stats as a Clan you can look at overall progression and averages. I haven't cared about it since the BF3 days when we were playing competitively.

I do think it's cool I can spray paint the OS logo on walls, while playing.
