No Swarm Queen Divorah. I'm disappointed.

Surprised there's weren't more Raiden. Dudes pure cheese with loads of mix ups.

Also no Lui Kang? Wow very surprised with that as well since he's one of the top characters.

Looked at the list and someone did use Lui Kang for a game or two. Raiden is pure cheese because every lightning attack is damn near is an OS smh. And I'm personally trying to learn D'vorah but everytime I attempt to sit in practice, I'll get frustrated and go back to Mileena.

No one really rocks Kano do they?? His cybernetic variation and wrestler variation are pretty cool.

Not sure why people don't play Kano a bit more - he seems pretty safe.

Zone with her and when/if your opponent gets close enough, hit them with a quick string. Thats how it feels 90% of people play full auto.

I've been fooling around with lui kang lately. His bicycle enhance and bounce kick are really nice to cancel into. Mileena is my main but she's not a safe character, I need to open up my horizons some. I am more of a fan of the characters who use back/forward specials rather than the qtr circle ones.

Is it just me or are Predators frames really fast? Like he can pull off a combo and I'll block it just for him to block immediately after?

As for the Mileena not being safe, lol I've come to realize that but the way you can play the long or short game with her is why I like her the most. And her combos are nice when pulled off.

Predator is gonna get nerfed. Every combo he does can lead to at least 40% damage, 40 being on the low end. I wouldn't care about that too much but the fact that he's as big as a grappler but moves like Kung Lao is just crazy. I automatically block low at the start of any Pred match because his d4 has to be 2f startup - its like you can preload that in before the 'Fight' disappears to start the match.

The Mileenas I've ran across in online ranked matches haven't been too impressive. I beat a "ranked" 600 dude with just D2s as he had no clue of how to get inside without ball or TK. I don't full punish Mileenas because I'm hoping they'll tip me off on a tech to get inside but they never do. I'll just have to wait until my Mileena mentors get back from EVO to show me the biz - unless one of you guys want to give me a tough love lesson haha.

^Predator can be kinda tricky, but i don't mind him that much. And ridiculously overpowered combos have been like a staplemark of mortal kombat games, there are plenty of other characters(pretty much all of them lol) that do some ridiculous 40-50% combos.

I''ve been ok against predators, getting better now that i know his moveset more. It' extremely important to not get hit by that ex stab move(the one where he jumps extremely fast all the way across the screen pretty much and stabs you), that leads to insane damage.

Its because the quiet storm that is on TYM practicing hasn't erupted yet. Since Predator isn't allowed at EVO a lot of guys are practicing him on the low, he hasn't been introduced properly yet haha. Please note the 70% combo.

So I accidentally dropped my mkx fight pad right on the right trigger. Now the button is stuck and won't work. These things are going for like double on amazon now. Guess I need to get used to the regular xb1 controller now.

EVO so far has been Boneshaper Shinook running things though SF beat Mustard with Kitana after getting his EB destroyed. Seems like 70% of the streamed guys were getting through with BS Shinook.

Mr. Mileena, a guy who gives me tips, made it outta pools so we're "winning" haha.

Boneshaper shinnok huh? Nice! That's my main, and i rarely see anyone using him online(especially that variation). I knew i had good taste lol. But seriously, boneshaper is overlooked, he has come nice options if you use him the right way.

No BS Shinnok made it to the Top 8, maybe one. They all started getting mahped up once the pros started playing against him. Didn't give him room to breathe.
