    My opinion:

    Best single-player: Half-Life
    Best multi-player: TimeSplitters (the original)

Admittedly I never owned an N64 so I have never played GoldenEye. I plan on getting a copy of Halo soon, seeing as I just got an XBox.

Goldeneye's single player missions were good too. Once you beat the game on the hardest difficulty you got sliders to change your strength and that of the AI. And beating the different levels to get all the cheats was fun too. The hardest had to be the Facility on 007 difficulty in 2min and 5 seconds. I probably tried it over 200 times and done it twice. GE had replay out the wazzu.

Oh man, my friend and I mapped out EVERYTHING on the level before we tried it. We knew where every solider was and figured out the fastest way to clear that level on difficult. My record was 1:58!

I remember that also. Thats the one where you start off in that jail cell right? I forgot. Me and my friends just recently played GE multiplayer this sunday. All we do is play the library level with Rockets. Best map in the game.

Best PC shooter for me was Half-Life. Still my favorite game of all time. Great story, incredible atmosphere, really good level design.

Call of Duty is also really amazing, but it is pretty short. I want to get Far Cry as I've heard really good things about that.

Goldeneye is still my favorite console shooter, although Halo is pretty close.

I think in the facility level you started up in the vents. You crawled through them and dropped into the vents. I though that was the facility level.

Nah best map would be Complex. Play it with proximity mines or power weapons and you could play for hours.
