Not sure where to post this: either here or the other sports sub forum. Anyway...

theHunter is a hunting sim I've been playing recently that is very realistic and quite fun. The style of play would probably be better suited to people who play Arma/Dayz/Breaking Point, because it's slow and methodical. It's considered "free to play" but honestly it is more of a demo that only allows you to hunt mule deer and pheasants. The game is quite in depth and allows hunting many different animals with a whole range of firearms and bows. Worth checking out if hunting is even mildly interesting to you.

Yep. I played about 5 hours in one reserve on a free account just hunting Mule deer. Plus you can enter competitions for Mule deer which also will provide hours of play time.

I tried this around the time it came out and found it as boring as real hunting! LOL

Maybe that is a good thing for a "sim" game, but personally, I liked the Deer Hunter games 1000x better.
