My only complaint is everyone always voted for damn BR Slaeyer every time. Don't people get sick of that?

I agree with you. I personally think the BR games are boring, one of the main reasons I like Halo is the variety of weapons, but to be successful in those games, you have to use the battle rifle.

I'd rather BR starts than playing Halo 2/3 with SMG or Assault Rifle starts, where you have no chance to kill someone unless you are close range.

I was hesitant to pick this game up because I have already played each game in the series but the value was too good to pass up. After 4 hours of online coop campaign with my buddy, the series is as fun to play as ever. In fact, the campaign is better than anything I've played on this gen. The Easter egg videos are really awesome and bring even more halo lore to fans who only play the video games.

Not to start a destiny comparison but the campaign reminds me of how much of a let down the campaign for destiny has been. First four levels of halo; escape a spaceship being taken over by the convenant, find survivors on an alien planet, stealth your way onto an alien ship to rescue your captain, invade a beach and find a hidden alien artifact. Mission structure and level design is still unmatched IMO.

Not a fan of the find survivors on alien planet mission. Give me a waypoint or two at least.

Playing the game offline is an absolute blast. I've played a ton of LAN in the last couple of days and tonight I was speedrunning Halo CE with a friend to try and get the achievement.

It's tough as nails, but getting down the strategies is a ton of fun.

Has anyone else struggled with Halo 2 anniversary maps online? I always do well on Halo 2 maps, Halo CE and Halo 3 to an extent but as soon as I get a Halo 2 anniversary map, I struggle mightily. Gameplay must be changed just enough to throw me off.

I do ok on those maps, Halo CE is the only one that has been giving me troubles. My pistol aim must be off because I empty the entire magazine into guys and aren't able to kill them.

I swear it is almost like it is lag, but only for Halo CE.

It's a combination of the netcode in Halo 1 and Halo 1's hit detection is much more precise than the other games. I think its mostly the netcode though, since 343 said they were still working out issues with it, which is why there was no Halo 1 playlist at launch.

Crazy that I can't even get into a game. Been trying for over 15 minutes.

Sad the state of this game. There is no excuse for this to be like this. Don't release the damn game if it doesn't work period.

Today has been really bad.

Fortunately, they have a patch planned Wednesday. I'm guessing finding a game won't be a huge issue, at that point.
