I die plenty on my own. I dont need the system's help lol.

Also not a fan of the armor abilities in mp, especially camo. Looking forward to halo and halo 2 getting released in the collection

Did you play Reach in the past?

I don't mind the Sprint feature, but I don't care for the others. I prefer active camo being a pick-up on the map instead. Sometimes I'll use Hologram.

I've got my groove back, but I also use a mapped DS4 controller so L1 is aim, R1 shoot, and I can click down on the right stick to sprint or use hologram. Being able to map and use what I want is a big plus. I also tend to like normal slayer where everyone doesn't start with a DMR.

I see people complain about aim assist on controller, but what did they expect people to do? The game is 10 years old and most of us played with controller originally. You can succeed with either, but the game doesn't require so much snap aiming as some other shooters so a controller works best for me.

I get on a lot of nights after 7-8pm CST if anyone wants to play.

No, I havent played a halo game since halo 3. That was around the time I stopped buying console shooters.

Aim assist on the controller's is annoying to me because it's not a level playing field. The game is available for both xbox and PC and it just seems like to me if you're playing on a PC you shouldnt get an assist because you're less used to mouse and keyboard. I've been playing overwatch on PC for the last 3 years as my main shooter and Reach is wildly different for me from an aiming perspective. Just my opinion though. I dont see myself ever getting into Reach MP so my opinion doesnt really amount to much lol.

Does anyone still play this? I mostly play Team SWAT and I've started streaming so I was hoping to find a couple of people to play and chat with to make things more interesting.

Prior to getting a Series X, the only Halo I had ever played was Halo 2 on the OG Xbox. I have the MCC downloaded in hopes of running through the campaigns before Infinite comes out. I started with Combat Evolved, finished it about a week ago. The level design definitely feels dated, I mean it is a really old game. But I still enjoyed the heck out of it and will start Halo 2 soon.

I’ve also started to dabble in the multiplayer, playing Halo 3 and 4. It’s a lot of fun.
