This update is great so far. They pretty much streamlined a ton of stuff. The new operators are pretty awesome as well. Have yet to play on the new map though.

As much as i love this game. And I do LOVE it. I'm noticing a ton of players obviously using mouse and keyboard on PS4 and it's got to a point for me where I either feel the need to get those myself or just take a break from the game for a bit. If you wanna play on mouse and keyboard, go play on PC. I view it as a form of cheating. Also, there are straight up idiots on the mics more and more. I'm waiting for these morons to leave go back to COD or BF. Can't come soon enough.

And I'm done with this one for good by the looks. So tired of the team killing and the community the past month and a half. This game is chalk full of ****ing team killers, quitters and mouse and keyboard/modded controllers. Maybe these idiots leave and go back to COD and BF once the new ones release and it gets back to what it was. In the meantime, these ****s can have it.

Ok so I know I shouldn’t open this up but now I have to say something. So you view mouse and key as cheating on console? Well the one game where this really pops in my head is fortnite. You know the biggest game out right now? Mouse and key has been on since the beginning on ps4 and honestly I have read hardly any complaints about it at all. After actually looking into these converters they are still trapped into what a controller is capable of.

Now where you should take great issue is with people using modded controllers plus something like a Cronus max with game packs which allows the likes of aim bot, anti recoil, rapid fire, and stuff like drop as soon as the trigger is pulled dropshot. After closely paying more attention to game play on console in streams and playing, these Cronus max devices or something similar are way more popular and in use then mouse and key. Which to me I know my stance isn’t strongly supported I don’t see an issue with mouse and key on console. It doesn’t make you Superman, and I have seen plenty of people with controllers look as if they were on mouse/key. For accuracy purposes it is better, but as you play in the higher to highest rank in Siege either ps4 or Xbox these people can shoot.

And I am asking because I want to know your personal opinion on the topic in know way is any of this meant in an ******* way or berating you. Just trying to have an intellectual conversation.

Mouse and keyboard on consoles should be banned period. It’s an obvious advantage when it comes to accuracy and in a game like siege where accuracy matters because 2 shots or single headshots will kill you it makes a huge difference.

No worries at all. I'm of the opinion that if you want to use mouse and keyboard gtfo and play on PC. Even though for some reason it's allowed on console, I think its a form of cheating, especially for FPS where its a significant advantage in accuracy and movement. And I feel the same way obviously with modded controllers.

I can only speak for Xbox One gameplay, but it's started to get very cancerous. Literally every lobby I join has teammates BSing each other. Like it's to the point where they might just need to institute friendly fire being off. It's a fun game when people actually do what they're supposed to do, but joining a lobby just to get killed by a teammate EVERY single game really killed the fun for me.

It's a fun game when people actually do what they're supposed to do, but joining a lobby just to get killed by a teammate EVERY single game really killed the fun for me.

The real problem is that there's no real punishment for these idiots who just go around ruining everyone else's experience. If these dudes started getting banned for a week or longer, a lot of that nonsense would get cut out.

I've hopped back into this in recent weeks and man, this game has changed quite a bit. There's like 20 new operators since I last played. Every original map has basically been redone. The movement feels slower than I remember. Casual playlist is more toxic than it ever was before. I missed the game, though. Despite it going away from being more grounded and going a bit over the top with some of the abilities, it's still a nice tactical game with great sound that I'm in the mood for again.

Absolutely insane to see the modifications, balances, map re-works, operators that were put in place over the past 10 years. To see this game still going strong after all this time is truly a testament to the work these guys put into this game. And I hate to compliment Ubi about anything.

Yeah it's still a tough game to jump into and a lot of the people don't play Siege "the right way" but it's still very satisfying once you get a handle on the maps and ops. Still hard to find a feeling that is similar to having enough map knowledge to C4 someone through the floor etc.
