Got to play the demo beta whatever it was called. Turf war was the only game mode, but it was pretty fun. Nice change of pace from the regular shooters. The only thing that worries me is modes for longevity. Hopefully they'll have other modes available to try out.

This is fun. I played 10 or so games. Netcode during those games was as good as MK8, and I was playing with people from all over the world. Surprisingly, I think I might prefer the gyro aiming. It takes a couple matches to get used to, but feels much more precise while traditional stick aiming felt a little off.

The Roller is the easiest weapon to use and people didn't seem to know how to deal with them. With the Splattershot Jr all you have to do is packpedal and shoot, and their easy pickings from the high ground with grenades and the Chargeshot.

I'm leaning towards waiting until August for the additional content before purchasing though.

Sadly, I didn't care for it. Was bored after a few games, no way to communicate with teammates definitely causes it to lose it's appeal fast. Is there any story mode to the game or just these 3 min online matches over and over again? Either way, isn't a $60 title for me.

I didn't get to play, but was interested in the game, and this is what i was afraid of longevity. If it was $40 id buy it day one but now im not sure.

There was another demo today, but it looks like the servers crashed. I got into one match as soon as the demo opened up, but anything after that hasn't connected.

Can't really say much after playing 1 game. I was stuck on motion controls too, which I hate. By the time I backed out to the lobby and turned them off, the servers crashed. Not sure I'll pick it up next week since it seems like a lot more content is trickling out after the game is released. I'll likely wait until most of the is released and see if the player base is still strong.

Also have to see how lengthy the single player is, since $60 seems steep for only 5 multiplayer maps at launch, but since its Nintendo I don't expect a price drop.

They extended it another hour and I got into a bunch of games. It's really fun and definitely will purchase this at some point.

The 1 thing I wish they would add is the ability to change your weapon mid match. Played a few matches where no one picked a roller and if the other team has 1 or 2 its pretty tough since they cover so much more ink than the guns. Same thing with getting on a team where everyone picks rollers, the team just gets slaughtered at range by all the guns.

Overall the roller seems the best so far as I picked up the most points and kills with it. The Splattershot Jr. kills it pretty quickly though as long as you don't get ambushed.

Anyone pick this up today? Birthday is next Tuesday and wife thinks she would actually play this with me so I was thinking of picking it up.

I decided to pick it up. There's nothing besides Batman that I'm interested in until September, so this will be a nice change of pace from that and The Witcher 3.

Going to dig into it later. I'm curious how the single player turned out.

I'm interested in hearing about your sp experience and how online holds up. If it's as smooth as MK than I'll def pick it up. But if it's like SB than I may pass until later.
