Riddick has suddenly become a sleeper pick for me this month..

All along I was hyped and planning on getting Full Spectrum Warrior, but lately I have been hearing only good things about Riddick, despite the scepticism I had about it being another generic FPS..

Now, Full Spectrum Warrior is making me skeptical and I am starting to be more assured about Riddick..

I haven't read GameSpot's review, but will read that next.. To me it seems that Full Spectrum Warrior might be the better rental and Riddick the better buy, seeing that I don't currently have XBox live and won't until later this summer.

The fact that both games come out on the same day doesn't make matters any easier.. It just makes the fact that I can't buy both known.

Then again, there are certainly worse problems/decisions to deal with...

Riddick is preordered, and yes this is great news, as IMO Gamespot is always a little tougher on XBox games. Especially if they aren't online. This game has absolutely ZERO multiplayer, so the single player game alone gets a 9.3 and that is a WOW for me.

The only thing is, Riddick is also said to be a short game with NO live capability to extend its life. Rental may be the smart play.

There are also multiple endings and alot of things to find.
