I probably won't be buying it until I get my next paycheck, or two paychecks from now, I want to see what the next one is. So I still have some time...and that's time for you guys to sway me to getting it or saving my money and waiting for the next version of the XBox to come out.
Secondly, I'm probably going to get it preowned, unless my next paychecks are huge. I was browsing through the Gamestop site and came upon this little diddy of a deal. I've heard nothing but good things about the games, and it'd definately be a way to start off my XBox game collection. Halo can be found for anywhere from $25-$30, and that might be my next pickup with a controller for some multiplayer fun. Gamestop also offers a Halo bundle that has the used XBox, used Halo, and a controller for the same price ($199.99).
So yeah.....those are my options. Now tell me if I should go ahead and get one now, or wait for however long and get the next version of the XBox.
For right now, online play isn't an option. It probably won't be until about November and December, when I move out with my sister and have my own computer and [censored] in my room. That might sway your argument, it might not, who knows.
Also, I'm wondering if it's worth it to save the $30 and get the used console instead of the new console. Opinions?
Two other questions regarding the hard drive. Can you save pretty much all games on the hard drive, or do some force you to buy a memory card. Also, do most games allow you to input your own music into them?
