    Heroes and Generals

This came out on STEAM today and seems pretty neat, the user reviews seem to be great as well.

Free to play, anyone playing yet?

I've played it when it was a browser game...I think I have a recording where I drove a bicycle to battle only to be blown up by a tank...

It's a great game but the grinding takes forever but then again that was awhile ago so I don't know how much has changed.

EDIT: I just loaded it up and it no longer needs a browser best part is that I remembered my password!

Those of you who play it, I would love to hear how gameplay is. Looks good.

The weaponry and bullet ballistics are like that of the Red Orchestra series (realism). If you're out in the open then a couple of shots will take you down. I haven't seen that many tanks or aircrafts in the game yet but then again I played it when it was in its early stages.

Played a bit in the morning and nothing really noticeable changes to me....need to play more later...

I would love to see this game make it's way over to the PS4 in the future when it's complete as they support free to play quite a bit. Was watching a streamer on twitch playing it the other day & looks great. It's right up my alley as I love WWII games.

Downloaded this yesterday and played it for a bit and it's a lot of fun. The shooting is fun, the maps are nice, the graphics are not bad at all, and the game is just nice to play and enjoyable.

I did feel like an idiot because I accidentally did not have a gun selected before joining a match, so I would spawn with only grenades. Fortunately I still I got a couple grenade kills and was able to pick up some weapons when I found dead bodies in the woods.

I don't know how long it will take to get all of the items, but I definitely enjoyed the gameplay a good amount and see myself playing this for awhile. In a way, this game has a Bad Company feel to me, but with a more realistic health system where a couple of shots can bring you down. Killing someone is still very rewarding feeling in the game despite it taking a a small amount of shots.

At one point our team was not able to advance past a certain point because the Allies had a jeep and MG keeping us from advancing. I was able to sneak around and get into a barn and look out a window and picked the MG off in one head shot and it felt so nice. I also picked two guys off at different times from moving jeeps which made my night.

            Very much enjoying this.
