Re: Smite
This game is incredibly fun with friends. Haven't even touched Witcher3 since I picked this up at same time.

Re: Smite
Yeah I played this a ton then I went through batman but haven't been gaming much since I beat batman.
But my favorite god is xblanque which I think is mastery 4 and I have several that are 1 or maybe 2. Try to keep the ability to fill any role that is needed.

Re: Smite
I played Smite a little bit on PC, but then since I got an XB1 for my birthday a couple weeks ago to complete my PS4/XB1 take over the world domination I downloaded the beta of Smite to see how it stacked up against the PC.
Honestly, I find myself playing this more on XB1 than pc and I think its because Smite just works really well with a controller. Don't get me wrong on PC I have a Razr Naga with all my hotkeys on the numbers on the side of my mouse, but even then Smite feels better on the console for me at least. I will say this though, it did take me some getting used to going from full on graphics cranked up 2560x1440 60fps PC to a 1080p 30fpc toned down graphics on the XB1, but still its just more fun to me on XB1 and thats maybe only the 2nd time ever I've liked a console version of a game over my PC version.
For those of you that have never played Smite, GET IT. It's free dammit! At first, especially if youre new to MOBA's it feels like a really simplistic game. You wont fully grasp the strategy and timing...and PATIENCE you will have to practice to be successful at it. But once you fully immerse yourself into the game you start to fully realize the sheer depth the game really has.
Smite has probably been my most played game on my XB1 since getting in a couple week ago, and that includes about 13 other titles I have on my hard drive right now. Granted Madden is here and I will be into my Madden, BF4 Smite rotation now but what I love about Smite is the ability to jump into it when I need a break from Madden and play a match, usually lasting about 20-30 minutes then feeling satisfied.
My advice to a Smite newbie is get the game, try out the free gods, get a feel for them and when one feels "right" to you, go online and start reading up on that god, how to play them, their strengths, weaknesses, etc. Trendkill who is of Skyrim "Lets Play" fame has a ton of videos on each god up working directly in conjunction with Hi Res the dev of Smite.
If anyone wants to team up and play, add me on XB1. Gamertag is LordHveMercy08
Right now I've been running with Thor, who is really hard to master, but Athena is growing on me too.__________________________________________________ ____

Add me now, because I don't like playing with little random 12 year olds.Comment

Re: Smite
I downloaded this game a couple of months ago for XB1 since it was free, and ended up really enjoying it, so I bought the all-god pack or whatever it is that unlocks all gods current and future for $30 or so. Pretty happy with it. TBH I haven't played with half of them yet. Favs so far are Apollo and Bellona. For being free to play the game is also really well supported and seems to get regular updates, new maps/game modes, etc.Originally Posted by Briman123

Re: Smite
Never heard of it until I was in a longhorn in Cobb, and saw guys with Smite jackets on with lanyards and they appeared to be gamers. Looked it up and the world championships of smite are going on this weekend at Cobb Energy Center which is pretty cool. May have went for about an hour or two if I knew ahead of time.
