FINALLY was able to get this game! Found it online at Best Buy for $29.99 and just went to Walmart for them to price match since it was out of stock in my local Best Buy!

THIS....SHOULD....BE....EPIC!!! Unless the whole OS community Punk'd us with the overwhelmingly amazing reviews! LOL!

The Video game version of being rick roll'd?

Seriously though, you're a lucky a**hole for playing this for the first time. Was that the PS4 version btw? It's still 54.99 here in Canada, you got a great deal.

Yeah man...PS4, Remastered version...Best Buy posted it online as $29.99 so brought it over to Walmart to price match. Amazing deal b/c right now its $49.99 at Walmart.

Now....just waiting till Rockstar decides to price drop GTA5!

Just finished the game, it's not the best game I ever played but I certainly can't think of a game with a better story. It is a must play game that is excellent on every front, naughty dog did something very special with this one. And My God did it feel awesome to go Rambo on everyone with the Bow, I found myself at the end hitting some really long shots. I am curious About the ending though.

was Joel really that Naïve to think that Ellie would be able to survive the operation with the fireflys? I have to imagine while traveling across the country the topic of what would happen with the fireflys must have come up, I feel like we were lead to believe Ellie was alright with being sacrificed. Either way I think the Begining of The sequal will involve Ellie killing Joel for killing everyone at the hospital.

I took it as Ellie was just a shipment for Joel. Take her from point A to point B and goodbye. As they went on with their journey they bonded and he opened up and she became as a daughter to him and a dad to her.
Joel was lead to believe that the operation was just a little thing to save the world and Ellie would be ok. When he found out there were others like her and all died from the operation with no cure, he was like nope and got her out of there.
Ellie was alright with being sacrificed. She knew it could happen and accepted it believing it would save everyone. I don't think Joel will ever tell her what really happened, especially with the last dialogue in the game.

I completely agree with your take on the story, same thing I was thinking and also why it was able to draw me in so much that I would start playing this game thinking I'd be in bed by 11 and not realize it was 3am and I was still playing.

This game could be so perfect for a prequel, I'd love to play at Joel on day 1 of the outbreak and see how the world goes to chaos and his struggles after you know what (don't wanna spoil the beginning). Anyone else?

I think going to that time period would kill what made the game great. You go to Day 1 and it just becomes a panicky zombie apocalypse game. No thanks.

True, I honestly can't stand those games that are just kill wave after wave of zombie/infected. I guess I just think if anyone could make a great story along with the panic/fear that comes at the start of an apocalypse, and add in great stealth and survival mechanics it's Naughty Dog.

I think I just really want to play this game again, I should just go buy the remastered version and be enjoy this game again.

Finished my play through on the PS4 version as well as the DLC for the first time.

Enjoyed every bit of it. This will stay in my game collection for life.

what's crazy for me is I beat it months ago, but I came back for the multiplayer - it's strangely addicting - I'm not good at it because I'm way better in 1st person, but it's just so awesome sometimes. It has some of the more satisfying kills in any videogame when you execute someone!

It is kind of refreshing that there is a actual reason why there are zombies, too often there is no reason. I thought the beginning of the game was executed great and really set the tone for the entire game.
