Online Gaming on Cable

Ive had a network adapter for my PS2 for a long time, and when i had DSL, online play worked, but as soon as i got Cable, it didnt work any more. Does anyone know an adapter that would work for cable?

Reconfig your network settings for ps2 and turn off PAP. Likewise get a router, your life will be easier.

Yeah I do Xbox and PC gaming online and router is a MUST.

reconfigure your NA to detect everything automatically. I have a Cable Modem and Linksys router and run my PS2, XBox, and PC just fine.

same here, no problems at all...though with the PS2 there were some port issues when I was on another router at my old place, I had to set the PS2 ip as the DMZ I think (check out the Online info thread above)...routers make life a lot easier though

same here, no problems at all...though with the PS2 there were some port issues when I was on another router at my old place, I had to set the PS2 ip as the DMZ I think (check out the Online info thread above)...routers make life a lot easier though
