    New trailer

Hellblade launches next year on PS4 and tells the story of Celtic Warrior Senua and her journey into Hell. The Hell in question is no ordinary Hell, but is in fact a Hell that is the manifestation of Senua’s mental illness. Senua experiences psychosis, including hallucinations and delusions, as well as suffering from anxiety and depression. As a player you will witness Senua’s living nightmare through her own eyes.
    Pretty interesting premise.

Yeah it looks like it may be one of those "needs to be experienced" kind of games.

Ok, why is it priced so cheap? Is this just a really short game or what?

Honestly, I wonder if them pricing it this cheap will make people suspicious and not buy it (like it has me).

I guess I'll wait and see what people think.

While Ninja Theory considers it to be an AAA title, the budget and whatnot is basically half the cost of the majority of AAA titles and since it's digital only, they decided to just charge $30 for it. Personally, I think that it's an excellent decision since it's digital only.

Its a self-produced/independent game that they say is "half the size" of a traditional AAA release.

You see where I'm coming from though right? It's like going to the store and all the frozen pizzas are $5.99 and one is 99 cents. Makes you wonder why it's so cheap and some folks may pass on it because they think there is something wrong with it.

But yeah, I'm glad it's $29.99...just want to understand why.

Thanks Daniel. You're like my "Felix The Cat". You're probably to young to remember him.
He had a bag of tricks and gifts he would pull out.

Now, could you get me a date on Wild?

Regarding HellBlade. Some of the combat scenes looked so natural and lifelike. It also looks amazing. May wait for a review or two, but its on my radar.

Actually, I'm going to do the pre-order now after watching his presentation again in the trailer.

I understand where you're coming from regarding the price but if you watch the release date trailer, someone who worked on the game says why it's $30 at the end of the trailer. Ninja Theory is a small 20 (if I remember correctly) member team. Think Hello Games but with better developed games. Heavenly Sword was said to be good but I never played it, Enslaved was freaking awesome back in 2010 (my second best game in 2010 after Splinter Cell Conviction) and DMC (never played) was also said to be good. They have my confidence and trust.

Hellblade being digital only also adds in to the price. I don't like spending/paying more than $20 on the PSN/XBL/Indie games but considering Ninja Theory's history and great track record, they have my $30.

For me to go "all digital", every game would have to be $30 on release day simply because I like to take chances on games and not being able to trade them in makes me spending $60 day one highly unlikely. $30 for Hellblade hits my price point, game looks and sounds good. Enslaved played great so im confident that the gameplay in Hellblade will also be good. All comes down to the story and characters.

Anyway, obviously up to you. Can always wait for reviews, impressions, etc. before buying. For me, it's day one and will probably be pre-ordered and may only cost me $15 because if I end up spending $100 on PSN, I'll get back $15 in July and I'll put that towards Hellblade.

I'll be 39 in September but you're right, have never heard of Felix the Cat and if I ever did, definitely don't remember. LOL.

Wild is not expected to be at E3. Gamescom is a possibility though. It's been over three years and outside of I think two trailers, the game hasn't really been seen. Ancel did comment earlier this year that it's in production/development and using the in house developed Linguini game engine which is probably the main reason why the game is taking so long. The game is also procedurally generated which probably adds to the extra development time. If I had to guess, I would say summer 2019. And sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if Sony pulls out from publishing the game since they seem to be distancing themselves from Indies lately. As for the game itself, I would be interested in it if it wasn't procedurally generated as im just not a fan of that setup for games.

As for Hellblade, if you're going to possibly be spending $100 via your PSN wallet between June 9th and June 20th, you should wait to pre-order because if you hit that criteria, you'll get $15 back which expires on July 20th so you could put that towards Hellblade. At least, that's what I may end up doing depending on the flash sale this Friday and the next two weeks.

Game itself looks real good and like I posted above, Enslaved was awesome so I have confidence in Ninja Theory to release a good or better game every time.

                            Re: Hellblade

I love how this game came out yesterday and not one person is talking about it.

It's a PC and PS4 Exclusive, and retails for only $29.99 ala $30 lol

Been playing this since 11pm last night on PC and it's a deep title and I'm loving it so far, the main character Senua's is a lot like the sister on Heavenly Sword all the way down to the voices in her head.

I'm pretty sure her character was definitely based off her, even though Ninja Theory will never admit that.

She has too many physical and mental characteristics that match her.

Even though her name is Sensua and not Kai.

The game is heavy story driven and I love the concept on how your failures will end your life and the game. So it encourages you to make no mistakes and the puzzles to get through doors is also amazing.

I have some images that were taken yesterday on my PC and I'm loving it.

I hope you enjoy the look and this is on Very High / Ultra Settings maxed out!
