    My son and I are having a ton of fun with this title. On day 8!!! Survuved our first horde and have found a new home to hunker down in for the next 7 days. Maybe we can make this one more of a compound.

    The crafting is immense in this game.

        I'm still so confused. Played a couple more days with my cousin and have no idea how to cook food.

        Can we not create pots or pans? How do I cook an egg without anything to cook it in?

            The only thing I am able to do is char meat from animals I have hunted (I have taken down a few deer's already). You have to level up your crafting to be able to make pot's. Also using perk points for cooking etc.

            The game is quite deep and a good amount of grinding is needed to level up fast. All we do each day is hunt for food and water and craft. Then on day 6 we fortify wherever we decided to hunker down and hope for the best.

            After the horde arrives and hopefully survive, we venture to the next town and do it again but more leveled up. Plus we make sure we get supply drops every day (I set them to every 24 hours).

                You can't make cooking pots. You have to find them, usually in houses in the kitchens.

                    Thanks guys. Confirming what we thought.

                    Got to day 6 (not a lot of gaming time for me and my cousin together) and ended up finding a town and getting stuck avoiding zombies till midnight.

                    I had a first person view of a zombie running at me that my cousin was too busy messing around to see. Thankfully we had a metal door and holed up in a closet for 6 hours.

                    Also just me or does the time tick more slowly at night as the days advance closer to day 7?

                        Still have not found any LOL. Plenty of freaking tin cans though.

                            Most of the time they aren't actually in the cabinets but just sitting on top of the counter or refrigerator. Make sure to take a look there as well.
